Prologue:
I always knew I was different, because I have 'unique abilities' or as some people like to say 'gifted'. My 'abilities' are that I have inhumane
speed, jumping abilities, sight, hearing, and I sometimes, on rare occasions can see definite glimpses of the future. What that means is that no matter what
happens my vision WILL happen. I, nor can anybody, stop it. The decisions we make ultimately lead to my vision.
Anyways, I always was quite curious about my abilities, but never pursued it until last year. I didn't really care why I had these abilities as a child, I
just thought it was cool that I could do all of this stuff. The only thing that scared me, and quite honestly still does, are my definite visions of the future.
Especially when the visions include horrific things such as accidents, death, sickness, and bad things.
When I was little I didn't have a lot of friends, for obvious reasons. Even in my freshman year of high school I wasn't very popular. I knew people in
each of my classes, people would say "Hi," to me in the hallways, but I wasn't really ever close with people. Mostly I didn't get close to anybody because I
didn't want them to find out about my abilities and deem me a supernatural freak. I didn't use any of my visible abilities, such as my speed, jumping ability,
and obviously flying. Nobody knew I could hear them whispering about me, or could tell they were kissing behind a tree about 5 yards away from the
classroom window which I was looking out of. Nobody knew, and I thought nobody ever would.
I'm now a sophomore, and lately I've been getting curious as to WHY I have these abilities. I'm not in self-denial anymore; I know I have these
abilities, no matter what people, or science, say about it. I tried getting info in the library, but that didn't help. The computer was just people's theories, which
were interesting, but not REALLY what I was looking for. So today I'm going to come up with a list of all the places I could go that might possibly explain why I
am this way. But the bell's about to ring so I better get to class.
