Alina: New Beginnings?

Chapter 4: Tuesday

So it's Tuesday morning 2nd period at Daze Veil High, Alina is in the middle of a test in English class, when suddenly her teacher got a call from the principals office saying that her Aunt and Uncle is here to talk with her, mind you they kicked her out when her parents died and discredited her character and made her feel so low. So as she's getting up Melissa looks over at her while she's walking out then asked if she could use the restroom when in reality, she wanted to see if Alina's ok.

Melissa raises her hand and ask if she could use the restroom

"Hey Alina how's it going?", Melissa talking to Alina as if she's not worried about her.

Alina and Melissa stops for a sec in the hallway
"I-it's going... can you BELIEVE THEY'RE HERE ... ESPECIALLY THAT MOTHER F... UNCLE COLE LIKE WHY THE F- you know what I'm just going to clam down, I'm just going to-" Alina's voice begins to get shaky and soft... "I'm just going to pull it together okay, I'm not going to cry, I'm- I'm okay, I'm sorry for yelling Melissa, it's just-

"Alina it's okay to feel like this, I know it's hard for you right now, if you need a shoulder to cry on, your best friends got you, and the gang got you, if you need to take your anger out, the gang definitely got you on that one. Alina I know you're still getting to know us, but we got you, we'll be here for you", Melissa says to Alina putting her hand on her shoulder.

"T-thank you Melissa, I mean it, it's just always been me and my best friends but it seems like I'm going to get by just fine, but no matter what it'll always be them, and now you guys", Alina says to Melissa as she's wiping her tears and reaches in for a hug.

Melissa and Alina starts walking again, about a minute later they're at the principals office, after that Melissa stopped at the bathroom then went back to class while Alina heads in the principals office.

"Hello, good afternoon Mrs. Presley, you called me down?", Alina greets the principal with a question.

"Oh yes, Alina, your Aunt and Uncle wanted to talk with you, but before they come back, they went to the vending machine, let's have a little chat", Mrs. Presley said to Alina.

"Okay, um...about?", Alina answered Mrs. Persley nervously.

"About how you been, I know you've been going through a lot lately and you're always going out of your way to make sure that everyone is okay , and always being involved in school events and organizations, especially the DREAM Club (Discuss, Reassure, Accommodate, Engage, Manage) .

"I know...I've been a little off lately, but what about the club?", Alina responded to Mrs. Persley.

"They told me that you missed 2 meetings already and been a little distant lately, it's not like you to miss anything, or not checking in with them, they said you haven't talked to them about anything during your group shares, and discussions. I thought that club was your safe place to talk to them about anything, that you couldn't just talk to anyone about", Mrs. Peresly said to Alina sounding concern.

"Okay, I have been going through a lot lately, and right now it's not easy to just discuss or talk about it in the open, it took me sometime to tell my bestfriends, but I did, and outside of this club I can't talk to other people, especially them, so it haven't been easy for me lately, I'm still trying to adjust myself in what's happening right now, but why is my aunt and uncle here?", Alina explaining herself to Mrs. Peresly.

"They said that you've been acting weird at home lately and wanted to come down here to know how you've been doing in school", Mrs. Peresly answering Alina's question.
