"I was fine
Before you came into my life
Circle in my mind
Like the very first time
I wish I'd never laid my eyes on you
I wish I'd never stayed the night with you." Danger-Jaqui Siu

Waking up dehydrated is never fun.

Waking up on a hard couch is even less enjoyable.

Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, Celine got up knowing that Jeongguk may still be around.

She went to the bedroom and saw that he was gone. Just like the day before.

It was a blessing and a curse.

Having him there, would cause her tremendous pain. She wasn't sure whether she'd be able to stand another fight like that. She hated the fact that it wasn't resolved either.

The well rested girl walked into the kitchen, and directly to the fridge. Through the reflective surface could see her hazy image. No makeup, hair a mess, yet a face full of vitality. Fly aways drifting around her pale face like little wafts of smoke.

She grabbed a bottle of water, and a tub of cream cheese. Luckily Jeonnguk didn't eat all the bagels. A plain one was available, and she coated it with a healthy layer of cream.

They didn't see eye to eye. And he was rude to her because of it.

Deep down she'd already forgiven him. Because without Jeongguk, where would she be?

What would she do?

"Nothing," he had said, when she had first moved in and asked what she would do if he decided to break up with her.

Alone. Cold. And screwed.

Jeongguk would have to come to her. He'd have to apologize. And she wouldn't tell him anything about art anymore. She'd store it in her box of secrets.

Celine bit into her piece of heaven, sitting down on the couch again. Just thinking, wondering where everything went wrong.

Not everything about last night was bad.

It was so unexpected, but she felt like she had a real friend. If only for a moment.

Celine knew Jimin better, but she still felt left in the dark. There were so many questions about him. The way he was so open, but so closed off all at once. It was a puzzle she'd eventually like to figure out.

Shaking away thoughts that led somewhere darker, the flustered girl decided to take a shower. It was needed.

The bathroom was the best part of the house. It had heated floors, and was walled with black marble. The counters and appliances were silver granite.
