As I begin to place torches around our newly build shack, I turn to see Connor greeting me with a lovely cooked chicken breast and some apples. I give him a quick nod of gratitude before sitting down and biting into the cooked chicken breast. The tender juice filled my mouth as I bite into it. Before we built our quiet shack, Connor explained to me that when you die, you don't teleport back to spawn. A code runs through the minecraft character, regenerating whatever was missing. But you loose a part of your memory when you die, I guess it's sort of a price you have to pay so you could live longer.

I finished the food given to me and lean against the shack. "You never really explained to me how Righteous won't remember us." I started. Connor sits down beside me. He doesn't bother looking at me though. "The new update mashes real life and minecraft together." He began. "As soon as the world loads, you're suddenly sucked in. We both know this since it happened to us." He sighed, taking a bite of his food. He swallowed before continuing. "Basically, the character code, implants your memories into your head. I think it runs through your memories. And, if the code sees any mention of your character, and what it is supposed to be, will instantly turn you into what you have mentioned." He pauses and turns towards me. "Don't ask how I know this. It's too complicated to explain." He chuckled.

As the sun began to set, we head inside the quiet, homey shack. The walls and the floor are made of wood. A crafting bench, a furnace, and a large chest were lined up against the left wall. Although, there were no beds, multi-coloured wool were set on the ground, spaced evenly apart. I point at the wool with an unamused face. "Seriously?" I ask. Connor looks at me. "Do you want to share a bed?" He protested. "No, just give me the bed and you can lie on the floor." I reply. Connor rolls his blocky eyes before going to lie down on the wool.

I turn to the chest and open it. As it opens, a large inventory pops up in front of me, just like regular minecraft. At least they kept that. I think irritably. But as I look through the chest, I find nothing but wood, stone, tools, and food in here. I drop off my stuff into the chest and turn to lie down on the wool. I get into a comfortable position before closing my eyes and drifting to sleep.
