I sit down at the table and spread out my items. I make some glistening melons with the watermelons and blaze powder. "Good work there. Now I can complete the potion." Curlos grumbles. She walks over to the brewing stand and mixes the items in with the potion flask. She walks over to the table and sits down infront of me. "Here, some payment. It isn't much because you owe me, but it's a little something for getting the ingredients and sticking up for me." She says, sighing. She takes out five gold coins and pushes them across the table to me.
"Thanks!" I say, grateful for the gift. I add them to my collection. 8 coins! I still don't know how much they're worth though... Curlos sighs and scratches her shoulder. "You can go see your friend before it gets dark. But come right back when it does. I need help making these potions!" Curlos growls. I nod my head before getting up and leaving the hut. Curlos is really generous today! Giving me payment... Letting me go for a little while. I think happily. The only thing is... I want to go to the market... Look around for a bit and see what I can buy with 8 gold nuggets!
I remember the layout of the chasm and make my way to the market. The players have forgotten about this morning and seem to pay no attention to me. I make my way to the market. There are multiple stands and other booths to buy things. I explore, but there are a lot of people here... As I walk around the market place, I find booths of food, potions, materials, etc. I even see booths for jobs, or races! I open my inventory and look at what I have so far. I don't have much but I have 8 gold... A stone sword... A few peices of bread... Not much. Everything is at Steve's place.
I sigh and go to the nearest booth, which seems to be a food booth. "Er... Hello. I was wondering what the currency here is... How much can I get for 8 gold nuggets?" I ask who ever was running the booth. It seems to be a male player with brown hair, white lab coat, some goggles and blue pants. "8 gold nuggets? That's enough to buy you a cake and some apples here." The player replies. "How much is the cake?" I ask. The thought of bringing cake to Steve's place would be great! Have a nice dinner, some desert afterwards... Hm. I never even had minecraft cake yet. "5 nuggets." He replies. I set down 5 gold nuggets on the table and push it towards him. He takes it and exchanges it for the cake.
"Thanks." I say before turning and leaving. The player says nothing and I walk to the orchard. The orchard is seperated into multiple groups of trees. There is Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Dark Oak, ngand more! I enter through the gate and look around for Connor. I find him at a shack in the back, but he doesn't seem to notice me. His back is turned and... I think he's talking to someone... I'm not one to eavesdrop... But I wait beside the door and listen in.
"You can't chop down the small trees until the larger trees are chopped down!" A voice exclaims. "I'm sorry... No one really taught me anything! They only gave me an axe and said 'Here. Go chop down trees.'" I hear Connor retort. "Well, you shouldn't be listening to them, you should be listening to me!" Argued the voice. I decide to stop eavesdroping and go bug someone else. I walk along a gravel path through the orchard, viewing the different trees. It's strange to think that this whole this was created in a small amount of time! 2 or 3 days in the real world... But I guess a month in minecraft... Along with all these people to help...
I bump into some guy with a bacca skin on, and an assassins creed outfit over top. "Sorry..." I mutter appolegetically. The player nods, putting the handle of the iron axe he holds on his shoulder. He walks away, yawning slightly. Hm. Strange. I ignore it and continue on.
As I continue down the gravel path, I notice a girl chopping down an oak tree. I slink back into the shadows and watch her quietly. She's at an angle wear I can see one eye. She has light(very pale) green eyes. White hair with a tint of blue, a white hoodie with a green tint, short white shorts with a tint of blue, and light green shoes. She has pale skin, with a bit of blush. I continue to watch until the last piece was chopped. She moved onto the next tree.
"Hey!" Greets a familiar voice. I turn to see Connor. "Oh, hey... When did you get here?" I respond. "This morning. I was working all day." Connor replies and he looks over my shoulder. "See you've found yourself a girl." Connor chuckles. I push him away by shoving my hand in his face. "Shaddup will you? She's got a nice minecraft skin... That's all. For all I know, she could be an old lady in that code of hers..." I reply. Connor shivers. "I hope not. Let's get goin'." Connor states.
"I actually have to go back to Curlos' hut... I still have to work. I probably won't get home until later... Oh, which reminds me!" I start. I pull out the cake and hand it to him. "Happy birthday!" I exclaim. Connor looks at me strangely. "It's not my birthday..." He explains but I put a hand on his mouth. "Shhhhhhh. Just except it..." I whisper. He rolls his eyes. "Kay." He responds. "Make sure you share with Steve. Oh, and save some for me!" I demand before we go our separate ways. Connor doesn't respond, just roles his eyes and nods.
Once we go our separate ways, I run into that girl who beat me up before... This time she has two other guys with her. I roll my eyes and try to pass them, but one of the guys push me back. I don't bother with them, so I turn around and head into the opposite direction. I take a few steps before I am knocked to the ground. They had hit me upside the head with something. I roll onto my back and prop myself up with my arms. I look up to see the girl holding a brick. She grins down at me before raising her arm to strike again. I kick her shin before scrambling to my feet. The girl backs off with a glare as the two grunts come at me. My eyes widen as I try to run, but they catch up, throwing things at me. Something nails me in the head, causing me to fall. I put my hand on the back of my neck and bring it to my face. Well... That's blood. I think, confusion rushes over me. What is assumed the palm of my hand is covered in the scarlet red substance, luckily, it is faint. Something crashes into my side and I am forced onto my other side. I curse before standing.
As soon as I stand, I am kicked in multiple places. I curl into a ball until their kicks start to get weaker. When they do, I roll onto my side and into one of the attackers legs. It causes him to fall and giving me enough time to get up and punch another attacker. I punch the girl right in her eye. I turn and kick the crotch of the last one. As he's down, I kick him across the head. He yelps with pain. Suddenly arms wrap around my arms, making me unable to fight back. I struggle and thrash, trying to remove myself from the grip. The girl comes up and kicks my shin, making me kneel slightly. "Stop moving!" The girl complained with anger, yet I detected some eagerness.
She suddenly pulls out a sword, a stone one for that matter. I thrash again, this time more desperately. The attacker who holds me back, kicks the back of my knee, making me kneel. I grunt and try to fight, but the attacker grabs my writsts, and put his foot on my back, he pulls slightly, restraining me. I try to remove myself from captivity, but the attacker pulls on my wrists and presses his foot into my back, sending pain up my arms. I stop and growl, glaring at the girl in front of me, watching impatiently.
"Now... Are you going to fight, or die?" She asks with a sly smirk spreading across her face. Oh, boy...
