How about a date? Pt. 2

It was finally my break. I quickly closed my lane and went outside the store. I began to look around as I stood off to the side.

"Where could he be? Man, I hope he didn't leave because I took a little longer than expected.."

I continued to look, growing a bit sad.

"Hey, who you looking for?" A voice spoke next to me.

I didn't recognize the voice since I was still looking. "A friend. I was gonna meet him here."

"Ooooh. Is he good looking? I bet he is  since such a cutie is looking for him."

"Well, I mean. Yeah. He's pretty attractive-" I turned to see who I was talking to exactly.

"Danny. I should have known," I replied.

Danny laughed. "Surprise. I saw you looking for me, so I wanted to mess with you a bit. So you think I'm attractive?"

I couldn't help but laugh at his silliness. "Not really, just wanted to be nice is all." I said, gently punching his arm.

Danny pouted like a little kid and sniffled. "Harsh. And here I am complimenting you."

It was fun to mess with him. His reactions were cute. But I really did think he was attractive, of course he is. Though today, I couldn't help but gaze at his handsomeness in person. I never imagined actually getting the chance to talk to him in private.  The way his usual black leather jacket, ripped jeans and messy jew-fro went with him, he truly is a gorgeous man.

"Hey (Y/n), I was thinking. Let's go on a date." Danny suddenly spoke.

I blushed a bit. "A date?"

"Hah, yeah. Let's hangout," he spoke with a small blush. "It'll be fun." He smiled.

I thought for a moment. It did sound like fun, and luckily for him, I was off tomorrow. Also, I was pretty sure that Brandon would be working late again, so why not go out and have some fun.

"Alright, Dan. I'll go. I'm off tomorrow," I responded.

A bright smile appeared on Danny's face. "Great! Awesome! I'll pick you up around 7? What's your address?"

I happily gave him my address, already thinking about what I'd wear tomorrow night. I had a strong feeling that it'll be a lot of fun.
