A/n: so after a full year of completely abandoning this story I have decided to keep working on it and to actually finish it. Sorry to those who have been waiting, if there are any of you out there! (I hope.)
Miranda and I had agreed to get ready at my house and have the guys pick us up from there. I put on my new dark pink waterproof lipstick as my finishing touch to my outfit. I was wearing a white crop top with a high waisted pink skirt and a pair of pink pumps. Miranda was wearing a peach colored tight dress. Her perfume fills up the whole room from the exceeding amount of sprays that came out of the almost empty bottle.
"No wonder you're always complaining about running out of perfume." I say judgingly while I spray some of my own perfume on myself.
"Yeah well, I can't risk having the delightful smell just randomly disappear at some point during the night. I must smell good 24/7." She says with a serious tone. I just chuckle and shake my head at her.
Suddenly, Edwin barges through my door. "Hey girls, your prince charmings await downstairs." He says smirking at us and bowing pretending to be some sort of butler.
"Ugh, Edwin. When are you gonna learn how to knock?" I glare at him pushing him out but he won't budge.
"Thank you so much big bro for this amazing news. Tell my boyfriend I'll be on my way!" He mocks me with a high pitched voice and swinging his hands around like a girl. I could feel myself blush.
I gasp putting my hand over my mouth, "I so do NOT sound like that!" I pout crossing my arms on my chest and looking up at him.
"You so do Lizzy!" Miranda says bursting out laughing.
"You guys are assholes." I grab my bag and storm out of my room.
How dare they make fun of me? I'll get them back, just wait.
"Wait BFF!" Miranda shouts following me down the stairs. "I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me!" She sounds like we're 10 years old and she stole my snack sized Milkyway. I ignore her as we walk out of my house and into the sunsetting outdoors. When we get to Zach's sports car, the boys come out to greet us.
"You two look rather dashing." Zach says with a grin on his face.
"Indeed my good sir." Carter agrees. Miranda and I laugh at their silliness and hug our dates.
"Thanks, you guys look handsome in your tuxedos." I reply, "now will you tell me where we're going?!" I shout excitedly slumping my shoulders and giving them all a puppy dog face. They all give me a defeated expression and look at each other.
"Fine!" Miranda shouts throwing her arms in the air defeatedly with her peach colored clutch still in her hand.
"A fancy restaurant." Carter says grinning at me creepily.
Why is he looking at me like that?
"Ok," I start to say and then pause taking in a deep breath. "So you guys had me dying to find out where the hell we were going for a whole friggen 24 hours just to tell me we're going to a restaurant?" I try to catch my breath from ranting.
"Pretty much." They say with a smug expression on their faces.
"You guys are the worst." I pout getting into the back seat of the car and Carter mirrors my action.
"But you don't hate me though right? Cause I need to know in advance if I have to cancel our reservations." Carter jokes smirking at me. And I dart my eyes at him.
Miranda and Zach had gotten into the car by now and we were off to wherever our date was going to be at. I slap Carter's arm showing him how much I hate him at the moment. "Ow." He says mono tone as if he didn't really mean it.
