She let them laugh at her
Thinking they would stop
But they didn't.
She let them tear down her confidence
Thinking they would stop

She let them think she was nothing
Thinking they would stop
But they didn't.
Spring was spent in gloom,
But summer was meant to spend for forgiving,
This set her free and peace became her.
