May you Rest in Peace

Your journey on this earth has come to an end.
       But know this you were an extraordinary woman,
            You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Though you are somewhere else now.
         But you've left me the most precious gift.
     And that is your son; an extraordinary part of you.

My childhood was spent fighting my tormentors.
       But he made it beautiful for me by helping me retain my innocence.
            His dedication in helping me saved me from meeting failures.

Words about you from him was always of fondness.
         The bond you shared with him is his precious treasure.
      You are his first Love and the most important woman in his life.

All I want to say is thank you for him
       I am the richest to have known him
            The world is harsh most of the time; but he makes it easy to bear.

Death was something I used to long for.
       But now I want to live; because he makes it worth living for.
           I learned the true meaning of selflessness from him.

May you freely Rest in Peace with no worries.
          Because the seed you sowed and the wisdom you bestowed
       Is cherished and welded in perfection by him.
