III

"You'll Be Back"

There is this song that lives within
A sad song which kept me abiding
A painful song which will remind me
Where your name was its written lyrics

Hearts began to long for something
Souls began to search for nothing
Minds began to think over anything
But promises began to left hanging

Years passed since you've been gone
Yet still waiting for your return
Casting away all the hopelessness
Wishing someday--- today you're here

Those words were remained hidden
"'Till next time...", you said with sincere
Enchanted by your sweet voice
Foolishly believed your last farewell

Now realized the reason you departed
T'was for your sake, no other excuse
Consumed by own ego and greed
Followed the dark path leads to menace

Attempted to save you many times
From endless darkness and cruelty
Offering an unconditional love to fill
Your empty, lonely, wrathful heart

Yet ignored all the confessions I've done
Oft times tried to push me away
Made me suffer and brought heartaches
But my love will always, and always prevail

Dreaming one day, everything will change
Be the way things again, like good old days
Only am know for a certain thing
That you'll be back... once more.
