Chapter 14 Chris and JC

(Ellie's POV)

Yesterday we arrived home finally, and today O2L And Chris are coming over! Yay! That means I'm gonna tell Chris about the exiting news! Then, there was a knock on the door. "I will get it!" I hear Sophia yell. I stick my head out my room to hear who's voice it is. "Oh hey Chris! Ellie's in her room." Sophia says. "Thanks." I hear Chris walking up the stairs and I quickly close the door. Then I hear him knock on the door. "Come in!" I say. Chris enters my room and hides something behind his back. He's wearing a cute blue plaid t shirt and jeans. Oh honey jeans in the summer time? He must be hot... "I got you something," he hands me a bouquet of roses, which are my favorite flower. "Oh Chris," I reach for the flowers and breath in the beautiful smell, "their beautiful!" "Ellie I've been wanting to ask you something for a long time now.." He places his hands on my waste and our foreheads touch. "I want to go out with you," oh shit. He did not just ask me this. He did not. "Umm.." Just as I was about to answer the door bell rings. "I think their here!" I say. I run down the steps and meet them at the foot of the door. "Hey Ellie!" They all great me and JC wraps me in a warm hug. "Hey Chris," JC waves. JC grabs my hand and Chris just stares at us holding hands. "Ellie-" he looks up at me. I could feel my heart pounding like it's gonna just pop. "JC-" JC looks over at Chris in a worried way as well. "JC I told you that I loved her!" He looks over at me. "Ellie you lied to me!" Ok so I always tell Chris that I love him each night but I thought he new I meant it in a friendly way.. "I didn't lie to you!" I yell back. "Yes! you did! You told me you love me and I believed you and JC you son of a bitch!" He throws his fist and it hits JC in the face. "Chris! Stop what are you doing?!" I try to hold him back but I couldn't, he's to strong. Soon enough JC starts to punch Chris as well, there is blood traveling down each other's faces and Ricky, Sam, and Connor pull them apart. "WHAT THE HELL!" I stomp my foot and run into the bathroom.

I shut the door loudly behind me. I curl up into a little ball and rock myself back and forth. What am I doing with my life? The tears stream down my face as I think about chris and I and the best memories we've spent together. I get myself up and open the cabinet and pull out an old razor. I place the sharp side onto my right wrist and carefully press down and slide it across my skin. Blood comes pouring out of my wrist of where I just cut. That's for you Chris, Im so sorry. I began to sob in my own tears while the blood fills up the sink. I decide to wrap my wrist in a bandage and I quickly travel up to my room. "Ellie wait-" I saw JC laying on the ground while trevor cleaned up his wounds.

I didn't listen to him, I just ran up to my room and shut the door behind me. I put on a jacket to cover up my bandage.

"Ellie-" I hear JC knock on the door. "You fool move! Ellie it's Lola," I hear Lola's voice. "It's not your fault Ellie ok? Listen to me, it's not your fault everything will be ok," her voice soothes me as I stare at the window to our backyard. "Can you let me in?" I ignore her. "Fine well I will let you calm down." I hear her walk away from my door.

(Chris' POV)

I couldn't control myself, all my life I've been bullied and I never fought back, and I guess I was just tired of it. I'm laying on my couch with my nose dripping blood. I look over at JC and I notice I gave him that black eye. I did. I didn't mean to it's just he promised to me that I can have her. He promised and he broke that promise.

"Here," Lola places a wet cool rag over my cheek to stop the burning sensation. "You need to cool down." She stands up and makes her way over to JC. Of course, now I'm the bad guy.

I try to stand up but the pain in my ribs get worse every time I try to sit up. I decide to just lay there and do nothing but feel ashamed in myself.

(Jcs POV)

I'm laying on the floor as people crowd around me. I didn't mean for this to happen. Ellie is probably mad at me or well, us... "How's your eye?" Lola asks scooting closer. "It hurts." I state. "Want me to run to the store and get a steak?" Connor asks. "No it's ok," "are you sure?" "I said I'm fine." "I want to see Ellie-" I try to get up but Ricky pushes me right back down. "Ricky!" "No JC. Your not going anywhere." He looks down at me with a worried face. "Ellie is just really mad and sad at the two of you right now I don't think she wants to talk to anyone.." I lay my head back down on the floor and close my eyes and try to think happy thoughts.
