Chapter 20 getting ready

(Jcs POV)

I've got a surprise for Ricky, Connor, Ellie, Lola, and Sophia. I got tickets to go see Miley Cyrus! They are gonna love it! Ricky came back from the hospital yesterday afternoon so he's all good.

After I get all dressed it call everyone over.

After a few minutes their was a Knock on the front door. I run over and swing the door open. "Hey JC," Ellie wraps her arms around my neck and gives me a shy kiss on the cheek. "Awwww," Lola coos. "Shut up," Ellie mutters. "CONNOR! RICKY! GET DOWN HERE!" I scream at the top of my lungs. "What do you want?" They both come down. "I have a surprise for all of us," I struggle to get the tickets out of my pocket but I manage to get them out. "Here you all go," I give everyone there tickets. "Miley Cyrus?!" Ricky's eyes brighten. "You got all of us tickets to see her?" Lola asks me. I nod my head. "Wow, thanks JC that's really sweet of you," she scratches her head. "It says the concert is tonight," Connor points out. "Well we all better get ready then right?" I say. "We need to get ready!" The girls run out the door to go out shopping for dresses. They are crazy girls. I like it.

(Lola's POV)

Yay! We are all going to a concert together! This is so exiting! We are on our way to forever 21 to find the best dress their is.

Couple minutes past

We make it to the store and we all run into the store like crazy kids. "Look!" Sophia picks up a purple sparkly dress. "Perfect," she whispers to herself..

A couple hours past and Ellie comes up to me showing me her dress, it's like a silky black texture with a zipper in the back with high heels and a red bow for her hair. "What did you get?" She asks me. I show her a dark blue dress with sparkles on the top. "Pretty!" She smiles.

We get back to the house to get already. Because everyone knows us girls take awhile to get ready. I carefully put on my strapless dress and some flats to match it. Now it's time for the hair, "ELLIE!" I scream for help. "Yes?" She asks putting in her earrings. "Wait don't you think that's a little short?" I look down at her dress, and her heels are pretty tall.. "No," she says pulling it down. I roll my eyes and ask for help with my hair. She puts it in a braid then wraps it into a bun. "Thanks," I say grabbing my makeup supplies.

Time skip

I finish my makeup and wait for everyone downstairs on the couch. "Hurry up!" I yell at them. Ellie comes walking down the steps next in her high heels. "Is Sophia coming?" I ask. She nods her head and looks up at the top of the stairs. Then I see Sophia in some white high heel boots and her one strap purple dress. "Y'all both look amazing!" I say. "Thanks!" They both coo. Then there was knock on the door. I was the closest to the door so I answer it. "Hey guys!" There was JC, Connor, and Ricky looking their best for the concert. "Ready to go?" They ask. "We sure are!" JC grabs Ellie's hand to help her walk a bit and we all pile into Ricky's car.

A/N hello guys! sorry I haven't updated in awhile and that's because I keep forgetting to publish it... do you guys have exams this week? I do. I took my social studies one on Tuesday. I got an A on it! yay! I took my science one today and I got a C on it. next week I'm gonna be taking the ELA one and the math one. 'yay' and next week I have the 8th grade dance! woop woop! Anyway just thought I should share that with everyone! thanks guys!
