Forgiveness

Grayson's POV
I pull up to my house after dropping off Hayley at her house. Man was I ticked off at her. I grab my keys out of the ignition and walk to the front door. I walk into my house and go up to my room. It was a little hot in my room, so I decided to open up the window. When I opened up the window, I heard someone crying. I look out of my window across to Hayley's and see her laying on her bed sobbing. I feel guilt fill up my body.
"Was this all my fault? Was Hayley crying because of me?" I think.
I decide to go over to her house after thinking about this thought. I tell my parents where I'm going and they're ok with it. I walk out the front door and make my way over to Hayley's house. I knock on the door and Hayley's Mom answers.
"Oh hi Grayson! How are you?" Hayley's Mom says.
"I'm good, how are you Sarah?" I say. Hayley's Mom insists I call her Sarah, not Mrs. Miller.
"I'm great!" Sarah says.
"Um, do you know where Hayley is?" I ask
"Yes, she's in her room. She doesn't seem to be in a good mood though. She walked into the house 5 minutes ago crying. I tried to talk to her but she wouldn't say anything." She says.
"Ok thanks!" I shout while running towards the stairs.
I make my way to Hayley's room and the door is closed. I knock on it.
"Come in." Hayley says in between her sniffles.
I open the door, walk in, and sit on the edge of her bed. I hate seeing her like this, but she shouldn't have done what she did. I sound like such a dad.
"Gray... what are you doing here? I thought you hated me." She said.
"Hayley, why would you think I hate you? I just don't think that what you did was that smart. You could've gotten in trouble. I'm just trying to protect you Hay." I say. "Plus, I'm over it now. I kind of over reacted. I shouldn't be controlling your life."
"I get it Gray, you were just trying to protect me. It's fine." Hayley says.
"So are we good?" I ask
"Yea" Hayley says tearing up.
I quickly pull her into a tight hug. We hug for 5 minutes, not joking. After we pull out of our hug, there is a awkward moment of silence.
"Do you wanna come over to my house?" I ask Hayley.
"Sure" She says wiping her tears.
We walk downstairs and Hayley tells her mom that she's coming to our house. Her mom says that it's ok. Her mom is very lenient with that type of stuff. We walk out her front door and go to mine. We walk in and go up to my room. We walk in to see Ethan laying on his bed playing on his phone.
"Oh hi guys!" Ethan says shutting off his phone.
"Hi!" Hayley says.
"So are you guys good now?..." Ethan says awkwardly.
"Yeah." Grayson says.
"Ok good" Ethan says.
"How about we go get some Fro Yo?" Grayson asks.
"Heck yeah" Hayley says.
"Let's do this!!!"Ethan says getting off of his bed to put in shoes.
We walk out the front door and walk to the Fro Yo place because it's fairly close to our house.
We get to the Fro Yo place after 5 minutes of walking. We walk in and grab our cups. Ethan and I grab the biggest size cup and Hayley gets the medium sized one. Ethan gets Strawberry flavored Fro Yo with 3 strawberries on top and some chocolate syrup. Hayley gets Raspberry flavored Fro Yo with some gummy bears and crushed up Reeses on top. I get Chocolate Brownie flavored Fro Yo and put brownie bites on top. We make our way over to the cashier and I pay for the Fro Yo. We go and sit down at a table and eat our Fro Yo. We are in silence because Fro Yo is DELICIOUS! After we're done eating, we throw out our trash and start walking home.
"Ugh, I'm so full I don't even wanna walk!" Hayley complains
"Hop on my back!" Ethan says.
"E, I'm probably too heavy for you!" Hayley says.
"No you're not Hayley, you weigh less than Gray and I can pick him up." Ethan says.
"Fine!" Hayley says.
Hayley hops on Ethan's back and Ethan starts walking.
We drop Hayley off at her house and say goodbye. Then, we go to our house, head upstairs, and go to bed. Today has been an, well let's say,... eventful day.
