Movie Night

Grayson's POV
I quickly text Hayley back letting her know that we're coming and that we'll be over in a few. I walk downstairs and sit on the couch waiting for Ethan to get his stuff together. While I was sitting there I just kept on thinking about what Ethan told me. I didn't know he felt that way. If I did, I wouldn't have asked Hayley out. I just wish he would've told me sooner. Now he's going to be a third wheel. And trust me being the third wheel isn't the best. Last year, Ethan had this girlfriend named Allison. Allison is a smart, sweet, pretty and caring girl, don't get me wrong, but she was a grade A slut. Her parents are rich and she is spoiled rotten. Now, I know Ethan and I told Hayley that we didn't have many friends, but we lied. We've talked about telling her the truth and I think we are going to tonight. The truth is that we are really popular at our school and have a lot of friends. Last year, we would find 5 girls standing at our locker every single day. It's just that none of them were really all that interesting. They were mostly stupid snobs. This year, we've been pushing away the attention because of what we told Hayley which is why tonight we're gonna tell her.
"I'm ready Gray!" Ethan shouts walking downstairs with a backpack on his shoulders.
"Why do you have a backpack on?" I chuckle out.
"It has all my stuff in it. My phone charger, my sleeping bag, a pillow, and some money." Ethan says.
"Ethan you do know that this is just a movie night, not a 2nd grade sleepover right?" I ask him.
"Yeah... but where else will I sleep?" He asks me.
"Hayley will have somewhere for you to sleep. Now leave the sleeping bag and pillow home. Even if you do need it we're gonna be right next door." I retaliate.
"Ok..." he says pulling the sleeping bag and pillow out of his backpack.
We walk out the front door and lock it. We walk right on over to Hayley's house and go inside because the door is unlocked.
"We're here!" I shout.
"Took you long enough to walk over here!" She says getting off of the couch and putting her phone in her back pocket.
"Yeah Ethan tried to bring a sleeping bag" I laugh out.
"Classic Ethan" she says.
She walks over to us and gives us both hugs.
"Ok so what movie do you want to watch?" She says pointing at the 3 movies she has laying out.
-The Conjuring,-Mean Girls, and -The Notebook.
"Oooooh The Conjurung!!!" Ethan says.
"Ok"
She takes the DVD out of the case and slides it into her PS4.
We all sit down and start watching the movie. I could tell that Hayley didn't like horror movies because she was sitting really close to me. The movie got a lot few few screams and jumps from her. There was even one time she jumped into my arms.
When we finished the movie we turned off the TV and sat on the couch in silence for a few minutes.
"Hayley?" I ask.
"Mmhm?" She says.
"I have to tell you something." I say.
"What is it?" Hayley asks.
"Well the truth is that when we were at the park and we told you we had like no friends, we were lying." Ethan takes over.
"See the thing is that last year we were really popular and had a lot of friends. I hope you're not mad." I tell her.
"Well then why did you tell me you had no friends at the park?" She asks us with a raised eyebrow.
"We just didn't want you to feel alone." Ethan says.
"Yeah we love you too much as a friend to have you feel alone." I say.
"Ok, I forgive you. Just one thing?" She says.
"Yeah..." Ethan says.
"I want to meet these friends on Monday at school. K?" She says
"Sounds good!" I tell her.
"Ok and one more thing." Hayley says.
"What now?" Ethan rolls his eyes.
"First of all, don't roll your eyes at me. And second of all, can we go to bed?" She asks us.
"Yeah sure." I say.
We all get comfortable on the couch and go to sleep. I can't wait to wake up and see her beautiful face again.

A/N- ugh I know you guys have been waiting for this update for like a week. I've been busy with school and fundraising for my trip. I'm going to Boston in May!! I tried to make a long update today. Hope you guys liked it! Luv y'all!-Lexi💕
