"really!" alice asked excitedly, her heartbeat quickening by the second.

"yah." harry said simply.

"oh my gosh!" alice squealed. she jumped up and wrapped her arms around harry. he immediately jumped and pushed her off. alices face fell and she quickly stood up, heading for the door. "no alice wait, thank you!" harry yelled, causing her to stop in her tracks and spin around.

"yes, harry?"

"i am sorry...reflexes...now h-hug?" harry asked, holding his arms out.

a smile began to spread across alices face as she walked into harrys arms, feeling them wrap around her.

"i l-love you s-so much alice."

"i love you too, harry."

"sh-sharp cheddar cheese!" harry responded to alice with a laugh.

the couple was sitting on harrys bed exactly a week from when they admitted their feelings for each other. they were having a very detailed conversation about their favorite cheeses.

"gotta admit, sharp cheddar is amazing. but i prefer provolone." alice said with a wink. "ew!" harry said to alice while scrunching up his face. alice held up her hands as if to surrender.

"you are so beautiful, alice." harry said dreamily while looking at the girl in front of him. "shush, do not lie to me." alice groaned while rolling her eyes.

"i am not l-lying alice. you are so perfect and beautiful and funny and i wish you could s--see yourself as i see you."

"thank you, harry. you are not too bad yourself." alice said jokingly, though harry did not understand. "how rude." he said, pouting and looking down at the floor.

"joking, babe, i was just joking." alice said with a sigh as she placed her hand on top of harrys. "oh okay!" he said happily, his old self already back.

alice could not help but to smile to herself as harry started on yet another rant about why cheddar cheese was better than provolone. and as she watched him talk in front of her, she knew that he was the only man she would ever want to spend the rest of her life with. even simple conversations about cheese, these were the moments alice lived for...because her and harrys love was so pure and true, that all they needed was each other to be completely content.
