Saturday
~Asiah's POV~
I sit nervously waiting for my girls to go stage I sit where the rest of the choreographers are sitting
“Ladies and Gentleman were going on a quick ten minute intermission” the man says over the loud speakers
This give me a chance to go to the food court there are tons of vendors trying to thier overpirced junk food
“Asiah!”
I turn around and I see Alexis running towards me I pick her up “Hey baby girl” I kiss her cheek
“Hi, Asiah”
“Where's your daddy?”
“Right here” Elijah says
“What are you guys doing here?” I ask
“You invited us” he says
“Yeah, but I didn't think you'd come”
“I said we're be here I always keep my word”
“Yeah, you do” I say feeling myself blush for no reason besides the fact that Elijah's here
“So where's Chris?” he asks
“We broke up...permanently this time” I say
There's a smile on the corner on his lips "He wasn't good for you”
“Cotton Candy!” Alexis screams
“I think someone wants some cotton candy” I say
He chuckles “Alexis”
“Daddy please” she begs
He breaks down within seconds “Okay”
We all walk over to the cotton candy booth “Blue or pink?” the guys asks
“Two pink” Elijah says
Elijah and the vendor exchange cotton candy for money Elijah hands one to his daughter and the other to me
“Thank you, daddy” she says shoving the pink substance it into her tiny mouth
“Thanks” I say
“I always treat my ladies good” he says kissing Alexis' cheek
Before I can make a comment about him saying 'my ladies' it is announce over the loud speaker that people need to return to their seats.
“I'm gonna go backstage real quick” I say before I realize what I'm doing I kiss Elijah's cheek then I quickly leave I make my way backstage into see my girls, The Divine Dancers
“Hey” I say walking
“We're going to kick butt” Caitlin says
“Yeah, you girls are” I say
Casey stops stretching and stand ups “We're not called Divine for nothing” she says smiling
“That's true” Keisha says
“I know you girls have done this a thousand times but remember no matter what you all still amazing dancer and amazing young woman”
All the girls come running to me giving me a giant hug “Break a leg, girls”
