~Chris' POV~

“Why haven't you been answering your phone?”

“I didn't feel like talking to you” she says walking right pass me

“What if it was an emergency?”

“Was it?” she asks sitting on the couch

“No, but that's not the point”

She laughs “Chris, are you even listening to yourself, it's like you talk just to hear your own voice"

“I like to hear the sound of my voice...that's funny cause last time I checked the sound of my voice used to comfort you”

“Well now it's annoying me” she says taking off her shoes

I sit next to her “What happen to us?” I ask

“I don't know, some how we fell apart and we kept trying and trying to make it work when it's so clear its not working”

I could feel her eyes on me “I'm sorry”

“Me too”

“Were here again now what do you we do?”

“I think we both know what to do from here” she says

I rip my eyes away from the carpeting on the floor and look at Asiah; her deep brown eyes, short but wide nose, plump curvy lips, high cheek bones, flawless brown skin and of my favorite features about her is her big crazy wild curly hair.

I cup her face and press my lips against hers for the very last time.

“So you've packed and labeled all your stuff?” she asks me again

“Yes” I answer for the fifth time

“Chris, make sure you've got all your stuff”

“I do”

“Just go check” she says pointing to the house

“Fine” I say

I run back inside to the house I check the living, the hall closet, kitchen, guess room, bedroom, and both bathrooms, I check the backyard which leads me to fine nothing at all which I'm not surprised because we never even got to use our backyard with the pool and lounge area.

I walk through the house once more then I leave the house for the very last time

“What?” she asks

“I'm mad”

“Why?”

“Because we never used the backyard”

She shrugs “I'm sorry, but the family moving in is probably going to have a lot of fun around the pool”

“I guess”

“This is it” she says

“Yeah”

“Can I have a hug?” she says

“Yeah”

I look down at the five foot two inches woman who has a indifferent smile on her face I wrap my tattooed arms around her small waist and I pull her into my chest like I've done a dozen other times we don't exchange words cause at this point there isn't anything either of us can say that hasn't already been said all we can do in enjoy this embrace and what it represents.

We stick with our silence and walk our separate ways to different cars and different moving trucks fulled with different stuff.

Asiah Cassandra Wright will always be in my heart I'll love her until the day I die she's taught me so much about love and relationships she's made me grown as a person and a man. I wish her the best and I know she share all the same feels towards me that I do towards her. I'll never get rid of my tattoo on Asiah's name I always keep it to remind me that love isn't just a four letter word it means something.
