Ariel was stunned by the announcement by Vinny. She would continue to prepare meals for Leon but she would no longer be needed on set. She would have to pack his meals in thermal lunchboxes so that Vinny could bring them to Leon.

"Why not, Vinny? The food comes out fresher and hotter when I'm preparing it in the trailer," said Ariel.

Vinny creased her forehead and returned a shrug without an answer.

Ariel huffed at Leon's sudden demand, and at the upcoming hours of boredom when she was done with her cooking. Camila and Evan would still be going to the set, but she was made to stay and be deprived of company. She took a map of Los Angeles from the hotel reception and began to plan her sightseeing trip. This was going to be a lonely trip, but at least she got to see L.A.

Sigh...if only Andy was here...

--------

Acting had kept him busy all right, her meals helped stir back some concentration in him, but she was a distraction too. The sight of her and Evan was too overwhelming for him to handle. How could she be so attached to him when he was only hired not too long ago? How could they talk as if they knew each other like fast lovers? How he touched her, how she laughed and be so cheery around this new hire. Why could she not let him in as she did with Angel and Evan? Even with Martin?

Leon diverted his frustration onto the script and onto his leading lady. Each time they were to act lovey-dovey, he could not help but imagine her to be Ariel. Jasmine Ferne had been flirting with him non-stop on set and off set, much to his annoyance. But he stood his ground. He did not want Ariel to see him that way anymore, especially after the regrettable incident when he was drunk and almost assaulted her. He wanted to change, he wanted Ariel to notice him, he was the star after all!

But he tried his hardest to avoid her and to forget her, for she was a paradox. Without her food, his stomach growled, but with her around, she was a thorn in his flesh. So, he made the decision to put her away from himself and from Evan, whom he did not like her being too close to.

---------------

It was the last day of acting with never-ending hard work, stunts and late nights. It was also the day where they had to shoot the most significant scene between the two actors. Leon insisted Ariel come to the set. Maybe, he wanted her to cook in the trailer because he got dissatisfied with the taste of packed meals.

Gathering with the excited crew around the set, Ariel stood between Evan and Camila.

"This is our last day, everyone, so give your best shot," William announced. At the click of the clapperboard, he shouted, "Action!"

Everyone remained silent as they watched the romance unfold before their eyes.

"Rachel..." Leon cupped Jasmine's face and stared straight into her eyes.

"Aaron..." Jasmine breathed heavily as she leaned forward.

"More passionate. I want to see fire in both of you," said William as he directed a camera assistant to angle the camera onto the other side.

Ariel tensed and sucked in a cheek at the two engaging in a kiss, fiddling with her fingers hard. It was not disgusting like his kiss that he gave to random ladies. It looked pretty passionate and deep.

Wow! His kisses can see-saw between disgustingly lustful to romantic!

Somehow, seeing him kiss like this with such passion caused her heart to flip with unknown emotions swelling up. Was it hurt or jealousy?

"Ow!" Jasmine cried, pushing Leon away from the embrace.

"Cut!" William hurled in frustration, "What's the matter now?"
