Chapter Two:

30 11 12

Finally here.

We have finally landed.

Grabbing all of our bags we walked out of the terminal to which a cool breeze greeted us, and upon feeling the breeze, I closed my eyes, feeling the air blow past my face and through my  hair. Noticing that the sun was out, beaming so bright, I let the rays of the sun beam down my face as well.

Breathing in deeply and then out, I reopened my eyes to my friends who were staring to ask them, " Should we walk or call a cab?"

Glancing at each other, we said in unison, " walking."
And with that being said we headed off, Bags and all.

Walking a few block, making a left and then aright we came upon the hotel that we would be staying at.

A big welcoming sign greeted us as well as a huge open space to which if we walked down we would come upon a doubled glass door. I could also see a uniformed person standing on either side of the door to greet the guests that came in and out.

At first, I thought this wasn't our hotel because I mean it was huge beyond any reasoning.

When we agreed to let her take care of all of the details, I didn't think she would go all out like this.

Something you should probably know is that Lily and her family were rich and when I say rich I mean they give a new meaning to the word. Also, when she is determined on something she will threaten your very lives to get what she wants which is kind of scary by the way.
Lily at first just kept insisting, but after weeks and weeks of us saying no, the insisting turned into threatening and since we all valued our lives, we finally agreed.

Walking down to the doors, a guy in uniform approached us saying, " here let us take those bags for you." To which two more guys in uniform showed up, greeting us with a smile taking our luggage and then going inside.

The first guy watched the guys go in before turning back to us saying with another smile, " let me open that door for you mams. Please enjoy your stay."

Thanking him and walking inside, my jaw dropped to the floor.

Holy cow!

Even the inside was huge!

The floors were of a besiege color with the walls being a shade darker than the flooring.
A front desk that looked to be made of complete marble sat a few feet away from where I and my friends were standing. Behind the desk there was a woman talking away on the phone. Making reservations. I thought as I turned to the right to what I presumed to be the lounge area where one could sit in one of the variety of chairs to watch a football game on the huge flat screen that hung on the wall or, if one didn't want to watch television, that was okay because there was a little corner sectioned off for those who would like some quiet reading time.

Making a mental note to check out their selection of books over there, I turned to the left which was the dining area.
Like all hotels, you could come down here and have your choice of breakfast whether it was bagels, cereal, omelettes, it didn't matter and I was pretty sure the same went for lunch and dinner if we didn't want to order room service or go out to eat.
Squinting and looking closely, I actually noticed a chef having fun making... sushi was it??

Once done taking in my surroundings, Harper, Damien and I Followed Lily up to the front desk where the woman sat behind it, typing on the computer that was in front of her.

She rung the little golden bell that sat on top of the desk and upon hearing the bell the lady looked away from the screen to us, " One moment please." Was all she said and then went back to typing.
