red dress; wenhope

WITH WENDY being the playful and happy-go-lucky girl she usually is in her girl group Red Velvet, only a few knew how stubborn and hard-headed she can be offcam.

Without any hesitation, she kicked the large package she received minutes ago under her bed. She even didn't bother to look inside of that box because she already know that it is a Bridesmaid's dress for her Ex-Boyfriend's Wedding that will be happening tomorrow.

Wendy sat on her bed while glaring at nothing. She's mad... no, she's just annoyed right now. Why would she be mad just because her Ex-Boyfriend, Hoseok, is getting married after their break up last year? He even has the guts to invite her in his wedding and sent her a dress to wear on his so-called-special-day when she doesn't even remember that she said yes to him when he invited her? No, she's not mad at all. Not really.

Her attention shifted when she heard a beep sound indicating that she received a message on her cellphone. She reached for it and opened the unknown message she received.

Did you like the dress? -H

"Ugh!" She tossed her cellphone after she read that text. Even though it's just a letter H, she obviously knows who that damn single letter is.

Wendy can't take it anymore. She reached again her cellphone to contact her precious Ex-Boyfriend who kept on annoying her.

She completely ignored Hoseok's invitation to his wedding, meaning she has no plans to come, so there's no point to send her that package and ask her if she even liked the dress!

"Yah, Hob---" She immediately paused a second after realizing what she's going to say.

Wendy was the one who gave Hoseok the nickname Hobi. Hobi meant 'precious sunshine' that's why Wendy gave that to him. After all, he's the precious sunshine in her life. His precious smile everytime he sees Wendy. His precious laugh everytime they both do silly things. His precious voice everytime he sings to make Wendy fall asleep. Hoseok is the walking epitome of the word sunshine, that's why she always called him Hobi when they are still together.

"Wendy, are you still there?"

She sighed after reminiscing and snapped back to reality after hearing Hoseok's voice.

There's no use calling him Hobi, again. We're not together anymore plus he's getting married. She thought and closed her eyes to prevent herself from crying.

"Wendy?" She misses his voice and how he calls her name.

She smacked her head to focus when she heard Hoseok's voice again. Wendy cleared her throat. "I don't like beating around the bush Hoseok, so I will get straight to the point. I have no plan to attend your wedding tomorrow so please respect my decision."

"You don't like the dress??"

"That's not my point!" She blurted out. Why would he even think that the dress he sent is the reason why she wouldn't come? That's ridiculous!

Right now, she's actually mad. Fuming mad to the point that her emotion will turn to tears in no time. She doesn't want to come to her Ex-Boyfriend's wedding because she's still in the process of moving on... or more like, she's not ready to move on from him.
