Lukesse P.O.V.
Jess held onto Lukas' hand, laughing as they headed towards another room, filled with more guests, food, and drinks.
They reached an unoccupied set of chairs and sat down, faces still a bit red from what had just happened.
"I'll get punch?" Lukas offered after a moment, getting up from his chair.
"Sure, just don't get lost." She replied playfully. The blonde rolled his eyes and left the table in search of the punch bowl.
Jess sat, admiring the decorations of the party and the clothes people were wearing. Bright colored decorations and statues of gods and goddesses stood all over the place. It was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen at a party.
Her hands entwined in her lap as she waited patiently, and then adjusting her mask to fit a bit more comfortably. She thought about when his lips had touched hers-
"Jess?" A voice asked and she turned to see Lukas walking towards her.
"Lukas?" She said and got up from her chair, hands on her hips. She looked at his empty hands. "Where's the punch?"
"Punch?"
"You were going to get us punch, remember? Did you get lost?"
Lukas looked confused for a moment, and then shook his head, looking away from her. He coughed into his sleeve. She raised an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Sorry, you're right. I must've gotten lost. Let me get us some punch."
Before she could protest he proceeded to get lost in the crowd. She sighed and bit her lip.
Lukas usually wasn't forgetful like this, and he wasn't one to just give up on what he was doing. Sure, he was acting a little strange, but maybe it was just the party.

"Two cups of punch." Said a male, tapping his foot impatiently.
"Alright two cups of pu-" the man at the punch bowl was pouring the punch and then stopped. He looked at the male strangely, confusion in his eyes. "Didn't you just-? You were just here."
The male's eyes widened in surprise, and then he shook his head to cover it.
"I-I just want more punch. Quickly please."
He looked away from the man, who was still looking at him in suspicion. Then he shrugged and handed him the cups of punch.
"Here you go sir-"
The male grabbed the two cups of punch, and ran off.

Jess bit her lip as she let the music ring in her ears. Seriously, how long did it take for one guy to get some punch?
Her face lit up with a smile as she saw Lukas gesturing her over with two cups of punch in his hands. She walked over to him and he gave her a glass.
"Thanks, Lukas." She said gratefully, bringing the glass to her lips and taking a few sips. The flavored beverage felt refreshing and cool down her throat. "Ah, who knew punch could be so good."
He smiled mischievously and nodded, leaning against the wall. After they finished their punch they headed to an uncrowded spot in the room.
"What do you want to do now?" Jess asked, watching the guests drinking, talking, and dancing. She looked at Lukas.
"I don't know, you wanna dance?" He asked, as Jess looked at him in confusion.
"We just did." She replied, folding her arms across her chest. "Are you okay? Did you hit your head or something?"
She went to put a hand on his forehead to check for a fever when he flinched back.
"I'm okay. Fine. It just-it just slipped my mind, that's all." He said, looking down at the ground. She sighed. He must have sensed her disappointment and grabbed her hand. "Come on, let's go somewhere private."
Lukas P.O.V.
Lukas thanked the man for the punch and headed back towards Jess, through what seemed like endless amounts of people.
"Lukas!" A voice shouted, and he turned to see Jess, in a different spot from before. She used her hand and gestured him over. He stopped for a moment, and then walked over to her, the glasses of punch still in his hands.
"Jess? I thought you were over there." He said, handing her the cup of punch and nodding his head to where he was before.
"I just thought I'd find you, so you wouldn't have to walk over there." She said happily, her voice a bit chirpy.
"Are you okay? Your voice seems a bit high-"
"I'm fine Lukie." Jess said, winking and grabbing his arm. "Let's go party!"
Lukie? Lukas thought wildly, before she grabbed his arm and pulled him away.
