It was another typical day of school. A whole day of childeren looking at me with disgust in their eyes. I wonder what Darla will punish me for today. "Dad I'm home!!" After school I always had a little bit of quality time with Eugene, since Darla usually came home a bit later than I did. "Dad?" No response. I rushed over to the study to see if he was there. There he was. On the ground motionless. "Dad!? Are you okay? Without hesitation I took him into my arms. "Stay strong" was all he could utter out. After that his entire body went limp. "Dad! Dad!!! Please don't leave me alone" I cried out. But he didn't respond. I felt his body slowly getting colder. I just sat there for a while with Eugene's body in my arms, untill I heard Darla's voice. "Christina!!! Come here right this instant" Darla had just come home, but I couldn't care less. Nothing mattered anymore as I was sitting there with my deceased father in my arms. The door slammed open "here you a..." she immediately fell silent. A single tear fell down her cheek. "What happened?" I didn't respond. " Get away from him!" She ran towards eugene and pushed me aside. "Why!!!" She was bawling at this point. "What have you done to him!?" Slowly all that grieve turned into anger. "Why have you killed him!!!" She turned to me, looked at me for a second and then jumped on top of me. She unleashed a fury of fists ontop of my face. I could barley even feel the pain. That amount of pyschical pain was nothig compared to the mental pain I felt. After she was done beating me I ran downstairs. Drew was sick that day so he stayed home. Maybe he knew what happened. "Drew!!! Drew!!!" I yelled my lungs out, until I reached his room. There he was sleeping in his bed. As if nothing had happened. "Wake up, what happened!?" he woke up and looked at me with a startled look in his eyes. "Calm down what's the matter?" It took him a few moments to realise that I looked terrible. "Christina you're bleeding I thought I told you not to make Darla angry". "Dad died "I screamed. "Oh" He said without showing any emotion. "Follow me" I followed him onto a rooftop. The sun was already setting since it was the middle of winter. "I guess death can just take people out of nowhere huh?" He said. "Aren't you upset, he was your dad you know?" "Don't you think it's beautiful Christina?" Drew asked with a glimmer in his eyes. "What?" I asked. "How the clouds look so gloomy, yet the moon turns them into something so pretty with it's moonlight". he said. "What are you on about?" I asked with a slightly irritated voice. "Don't worry you'll figure it out once you've blossomed into the person you're eventually going to become". He started to become translucent. "What is going on!?" Was all I could say "You should follow Eugene's advice. It's time to let me go Christina" No! Stop!" I yelled. "You must have felt really lonely, having to create me. But you don't need me anymore, stay strong" he said. Just like that he dissapeared. "What do you mean I don't need you anymore! Right now I need you more than ever!" I yelled towards the clouds. Nothing. No response. "Now I'm really all alone huh?"
