"Right next to the boy whose throwing up cos' he can't take what's in his cup no more, oh God why am I here? "

Do you ever find yourself in places or situations you have zero interest in?
Like you'd rather eat your toes -with a little spice of course, I mean who likes bland tasting toes?- than to be found at a particular scene?

What then do you do when you end up being in the exact places you find loathsome?
Do you grumble all the way making your lack of enthusiasm overly visible or do you just go  'you know what screw (Transitive slang screw which means To Forget) this I never wanted to be here but since I found myself here I might as well make the best out of it'?

On normal occasions, I settle for making the best out of my dilemmas. I mean, white rice comes out of a black pot doesn't it?

It is certainly not every day you go on a mini tour of your new college with your newly acquired friends and find yourself at a house filled with drunken young adults. Certainly not.

Bubble gum and her friends were the nicest people I'd met on campus so far. Considering the fact that I met them a couple of hours ago and they'd already warmed up to me. Infact, I'd like to think that they warmed up to me a little too much.

I'm not at all ungrateful for their friendliness.
Holly picked me up with two of her friends who accompanied us for the tour and for the drive outside school.
They made it all the more fun until they suggested the bizarre idea of crashing someone unknown college students party.
Did I protest ? Yes I did ! But I can't walk all the way to my dorms from outside school now can I ?

Let's just say I was kid napped and now I'm stuck in an unknown room while someone loudly bangs on the door while muttering cuss words.

My head is a mess. To open the door or to remain mute.
"Please is someone there I'm about to get sick" a masculine familiar voice sounds on the other side of the door

I think it was the urgency behind the voice but somehow I find myself opening the door as a familiar figure pushes past me and goes straight to the bathroom in the room.

The boy doesn't waste any time and in no time is puking his guts out. I stay rooted to my spot.

But then I remember how my mum used to splash water on my face anytime I got really stomach sick. I never understood the concept behind it but in no time I'm doing the exact same thing to the sick boy.

After splashing cold water on his face for a couple of seconds he finally looks up and the dim light rays hit his face and it dawns on me who I'd been taking care of.

Hallway boy, It was him in flesh and blood. Interesting.
Questions upon questions started swirling through my mind.
Why was he here ? Why did he drink so much that he was throwing up? Why was he looking so unhappy ? Why did he seem so familiar with this room?
My questions could go on till infinity.

He tried to get up but failed and that was when I offered him a hand
"Are you okay ?" I so stupidly asked, of course he's not okay

"Do I look okay to you ?" He said whilst giving me a very lazy smile. He actually smiled, albeit a very little one. A smile nonetheless.

"No, not at all, you actually look really terrible" I replied with a mysterious burst of honesty

He threw his head back and laughed out loud
"Way to make me feel better, Revelation"
he said with one last smile as he pushed himself out of the claustrophobic bathroom and out of the room in general

I stood there for exactly ten minutes wondering how the heck he knew my name before Holly came to literally drag me to the car.
