We sit together in class,

We don't talk much,

and yet you hold my heart

in your hands.

You laugh with your friends,

smiling ever so beautifully,

a smile that could cure any threat.

I wish you glanced at me,

even the smallest hi,

would mean everything to me,

I love how you smell like honey blossom,

And how you dream of going to Paris

How you don't like the word fall but instead Autumn,

There are so many moments I will cherish,

But I know you don't feel the same.

I won't give up on you,

It pains me that you're not mine,

I will try to get through this,

I will say many 'I'm Fine's'

But it will be worth it in the end,

and for now i will have to pretend

that my heart isn't in pain,

that my love for you is non-existent.

So for now, we will speak soon.

Ever most affectionately yours.
