It was a dark night,

Chilly but perfect for fireworks,

For a sky full of light,

For a good time out.


She stood there on the curb,

Dressed in all black,

Protecting her golden glitter soul,

Ready to take someone down.


She stands with others,

But she feels alone,

watching the fireworks boom in different colours,

she is very unknown.
