2:13 am
Victoria rushed out of bed and grabbed some of her used clothes, before slipping into a couple of slippers and ran down the hallway. She stopped midways to run back and pick her phone up, smiling for herself while reading the messages again. She walked slowly down the hall this time, concentrating on the messages, thinking how she finally get to meet him again. The phone pulled close to her chest, she smiled brightly before realising she was dissociating when she should hurry up. A couple of normal running shoes fit well with her oversized jumper and shorts, though the colours didn't match at all. A tilted cap somehow saved the outfit.I'll go there now. I couldn't find my wallet.
She closed the main gate to the apartment complex and looked to the left and right before figuring out which way to go. Finding it hard to recognize the streets at night she stumbled upon several dead ends before finally arriving her destination. A tall shadow sat on the concrete outside of the small restaurant, fiddling with something in his hand. Victoria recognized him immediately and walked slowly towards him, pretending to not be out of breath after sprinting to not use a lot of time getting to the destination. He dropped the item on the ground, and on his way back up from picking it up he noticed Victoria.
Oh- Hi! I didn't notice you!
She covered her mouth and laughed-
Tch. I was going to scare you, but so much for that. This is the place?
He returned the laugh, and looked up and then behind him-
Looks like it. I have just read about it online, though. You've been here before? It looks promising.
No, no I haven't. I haven't really eaten that many places to be honest. You know, still trying to get everything in place. A lot to get used to.
Ah- I understand. You've moved here
Yeah-
Oh, let's move in first. But yeah, you were saying?
Yeah, I've moved here. I started working as the CEO of the company I work in, but the headquarters was moved to Seoul, so here I am. What about you, though? Why are you here suddenly?
Suddenly? You don't think I've been here a while?
Haha, no, I guess you could have. But if I remember you correctly, you'd surely already have eaten here if you had read about it. You know... you used to love cheap food.
Eeey- you remember me like some cheap person?!
Yeah. Yeah I do.
Oh.
Sorry.
No, nah, I guess I'm quite cheap.
They looked awkwardly at each other before laughing loudly of each other.
Some older Korean lady walked past them talking under her breath, which neither of them understood because they didn't speak Korean, but as the narrator I know what she said, and let's just say it wasn't positive and that they should hurry up before she roasts them ali-
We'd like to order!
He sat down at a table in the middle. It was a small restaurant. It probably only had 5 or 6 tables, but they had three scooters outside, so they probably had a lot of take-aways.
I honestly don't know what to get. Did the online article say anything about what was good?
Oh, yeah, they recommended this, and uh- this too. They also said that-, let's see, ah these two also are quite good. Mh, yeah, so maybe we should try those? Which one do you like?
Well, I'm actually quite hungry, should we get all of them?
All of them? I thought maybe two or something.
Oh, sure, well. I just-
No, we'll take them then. It's okay, I am quite hungry myself. It sounds like a great idea.
They proceeded to order and they talked the rest of the night, eating all the food. They also had something to drink at the side, so the mood was quite lively at the end of the night. Talking about the past, the present and the future, they sat till the sun shone brightly, and the new delivery guys came to work, and a new day had officially started.
