Cells are the basic unit of structure and function for all living things.  Many cells are not the same shape or size they also cannot be seen with the naked human eye because they are microscopic.

Cytoplasm is a semi-fluid inside of the cell that contains water, proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, minerals, and salts. The Cytoplasm is the site for all chemical reactions that take place inside of the cell.

The nucleus is the most important Organelle within the cell. It controls the activities of the cell and facilitates cell division.

The nucleolus is located inside of the nucleus where it is important for cell reproduction. This is where Ribosomes made of RNA and protein are manufactured.

Chromatin Is also located in the nucleus and is made of DNA and protein. During cell reproduction, the chromatin condenses to form rod-like structures called chromosomes.

Mitochondria  are the powerhouse of the cell

Golgi apparatus stack of membrane layers in the cytoplasm it produces, stores, and packages secretions for discharge from the cell.

Lysosomes contain digestive enzymes that digest and destroy old cells, bacteria, and foreign materials

Pinocytic vesicles are pocket like folds in the cell membrane such as protein and fats that will enter the cells.

The nucleus contains ribosomes which aid in protein synthesis.

Water is essential for all cellular life and it makes up 70% - 90% of cytoplasm.
