On The News:

Local: A Zacharias Hicks [Age: 17] was fired from a local ice cream shop [Newly Frosted]. He is also being charged with grand theft, after being accused of stealing money from the company's bank account and the shop itself. Reports say that a mom and her four kids entered Newly Frosted and found Zacharias slumped over a table. The police were called, but it seems Zacharias was only sleeping on the job. [No drugs, alcohol, or any other substances were involved] The police were needed Newly Frosted's owner, a fifty-year-old James Hierden, found all the money in the company bank account had been withdrawn. The cash register had been emptied as well. It appears Zacharias had logged into the companies bank account from a computer within the shop and stolen information. He also deleted the security footage, accessing it from the same computer. Even more incriminating evidence has been found, the stolen money was withdrawn from an ATM near Mr. Hierden's home. Zacharias denies all charges but will be held for trial October 21st, three months from now.

National: The newly surfaced terrorist group, The Dark Mist, has claimed responsibility for the shooting at a popular bar [Hot Shot Bar]. The three shooters were caught on camera but have yet to be identified. Everyone in the bar was killed, a total of twenty-three victims. We pray for the family and friends of those who have lost. Visit our website to donate to the families who need money to afford funeral costs. [See Article 3: Skyrocketing Funeral Prices] This is the third extreme terrorist attack by The Dark Mist. The police have found no solid evidence as to any suspects, or accomplices.

National: A (possibly) traitorous police officer has been found dead [John Moltick]. He had been carrying an extra uniform and stole a police cruiser. He is suspected as an accomplice and it is assumed the uniforms were going to be used to impersonate a police officer. John was found dead at the bank of the Trilk River, and he had been shot multiple times. It does not appear there was any type of scuffle, as John's gun was still in its holster. The police are working vigilantly to find any culprits, but to no avail as of now.
