Her heart fluttered as he stepped towards her, crisp orange leaves crunched beneath his feet. A small smile was displayed across his face, a smile that she knew all too well. His fingers grazed her arms, sending shivers up her spine and a burning sensation bloomed in her cheeks. His brown hair was blown back by the October breeze, his cheeks and ears red from the cold but, his brown eyes warm and welcoming.
She stumbled, her back against the cold bark of a tall oak tree that casted a cool spot of shade over them. A soft giggle escaped her lips as he wrapped his arms around her waist, planting a kiss on her neck. "Greyson," She whispered, a small smile replacing the nervous grin. "Yes?" He asked, his voice lighthearted. "We're supposed to be getting coffee. Not making out," She giggled and he pulled back, raising an eyebrow. "Which would you rather do?"
She pursed her lips for a moment, thinking about the smell of hot coffee but, her mind drifted back to the comforting sensation that came over her when Greyson was around. She let out a sigh and chewed on her lower lip before letting the smile she had been holding back play across her face. "I guess we could skip the coffee for now," She whispered as she leaned into Greyson. Their lips met and immediatly she felt a wave of warmth wash over her. She wrapped her arms around him, almost as if he was a drug and she was an addict. When she pulled away her heart was pounding against her ribcage.
"How about that coffee?" He asked and she let out a soft laugh before entwining their fingers together. "Okay," She said softly.
