Ch.9: Found You

(I felt a hand cover my mouth and my eyes shot open)

"It's me don't scream" Luke said.

(I nodded and he moved his hand; he helped me get up and we creeped downstairs and one of the stairs creaked and we heard Adam door open)

"Shit run" Luke said.

(He pulled me to the back door and we ran; we ran through the trees and I was getting tired and fell)

"Come one we have to keep going" Luke said.

"I'm too weak I haven't ate in days" I said.

(Luke groaned and picked me up)

"Melanie you can run but you can't hide you know I'll find you" Adam yelled.

(Luke ran faster and soon we hid behind a fallen tree)

"Luke he has cameras all over the woods he's going to find us" I said.

"I know, I left when I heard the gun shot and when I came back I got rid of all the cameras I saw that lead to the outskirts of the woods; my car is parked there" Luke said.

(I was about to say something until Luke put his hand on my mouth; we heard Adam's footsteps)

"I know your hiding Melanie your weak, you can't run very far and Luke why care about your sister now, you've spent years ignoring her" Adam said.

(Luke picked up a rock and threw it in another direction and Adam started walking that way and we got up and started running again. Soon Adam started running after us)

"You won't get out of these woods alive" Adam yelled.

(I pushed myself as fast as I could in the distance I could see Luke's car. My vision was getting blurry and my lungs started to give out, I couldn't breathe and I fell)

"No, Melanie" Luke said.

"Go and come back for me I'll be fine just go" I said.

"What if he kills you" Luke said.

"He won't just go, I promise I'll be ready next time just go" I said.

(I watched Luke run then I surrounded by darkness. Hours later I woke up in the basement tied up again "I might actually die this time" I thought)

"Melanie my precious Melanie I tried to not hurt you but you keep testing me" Adam said.

"I'm sorry please-" I started but Adam cut me off.

"Shut up" Adam yelled.

(I didn't say anything; He lifted my shirt and he had a rod with his initials on it in his hand)

"No, no please I'm sorry just please not that" I said.

(He didn't say anything he heated it and branded me above the last time he did it with his knife. I screamed until my throat hurt)

"I don't want to kill you but I will hurt you in many ways until you learn that you're mine, I'm never letting you go" Adam spat.

(Tears streamed down my face)

"Please no" I begged.

(He didn't say anything just removed the rod and put it down; he took out his pocket knife and stabbed me in the arm. I screamed as he took out the knife)

"I hope you rot in hell" I spat.

(He slapped me then he gripped the back of my hair and put the knife to my throat)

"Do it, you know you want to" I said.

"Ugh shut up" Adam said.

(He held the knife to my throat for a few more seconds and then moved it; he sighed in frustration and turned his back to me running his hand through this hairs)

"Why can't you kill me like you killed the other girls" I yelled.

(He froze and turned around)

"What?" Adam asked.

"Yea I know all about the other girls, you killed them because they didn't want you, why would they want you, you're a psychotic abusive killer" I said.

"You don't know anything, shut up" Adam snapped.

"You killed them because they wanted out just like I do and no one else would want a horrible monster like you" I said.

(He looked at me like he was going to kill me; he slapped me so hard the chair fell over, he got on top of me and choked me, I couldn't breathe and soon darkness enveloped me)
