Naruto x Sasuke: Forbidden love?

Part 12

Sasuke POV

It's been three weeks since Naruto left. I ran as fast as I could to the Hokages office, I burst in through the doors and yelled at Lady Tsunade about what had happened.

-flashback-

"Woah. Woah. Sasuke, calm down. What happened?" Lady Tsunade asked, standing up behind her desk. "She's gone..." I said behind clenched teeth. "Naruto's gone." With that I fell to the floor, a trembling mess.

"Gone? What do you mean 'gone'?" She looked worried as she kneeled down beside me. I couldn't stop myself from crying. "She l-left a note saying she h-had to get s-stronger. That s-she was causing others p-pain-" I couldn't help it, I broke into a crying mess.

-end of flashback-

Now we had teams coming in and out of the village, all attempting to track her down. So far every team has failed to do so.

"Where are you, Naruto?"

Three years later...

As usual, I walked to the Hokages office. I had just completed a mission, having graduated high school two years ago. For the past two years after Naruto left, I would come into Lady Tsunades office everyday, hoping she had news on Naruto. After a while I decided she wasn't coming back. So here I am now, trying my best to live a normal life.

I was about to knock on the door when I heard an unknown voice coming from within the office.

"I understand. And I'm very sorry about it all."

My breath caught in my throat. 'It can't be...'

"It's fine. I'm just glad you're back. I missed you so much..." the Hokages voice sounded choked up, like she was in the verge of tears. "dammit, Naruto. You're so stupid."

With that my heart began racing. 'She's back. She's back. She's back.'

I threw the door open, panting slightly. There, standing in front of me in a familiar orange and black suit with a red and white cloak was none other then Naruto. Turning slowly, I saw as her eyes grew wide, filling up with tears.

"Sasuke..." her voice sounded fragile. "Sasuke, I-Im so sor-" I ran to her, embracing her into a tight hug, afraid that if I don't she might disappear again.

"You stupid, stupid dobe. I hate you so much." I said into her hair. "God. I... don't leave me ever again...." my voice cracked at the thought. I felt her arms wrap around my waist. Then she began crying.

Naruto POV

"Im so sorry, teme."

"I'll give you two some alone time." I heard grandma Tsunade say. She walked out, closing the door behind her.

Slowly, I pushed Sasuke off of me. He was hesitant to let me go, but eventually did. When I saw his face, my breath hitched. He was the same as when I last saw him, black glossy hair, beautiful eyes (although right now his sharringan was activated; the Mangekyo sharringan at that) and the same flawless pale skin. Although he got taller and looked to be far more built. I couldn't stop myself from crying.

"I'm so so sorry, Sasuke. I just- I... I dont..." my mind couldn't think of anything to say to him. Just as I was about to attempt to apologize again, I felt Sasukes hand against my cheek. Looking up I found tears in his eyes.

"Sasuke..." my heart clenched. I had caused him so much pain. "This is all my fault..." I thought out loud.

Sasuke didn't seem to hear me. Instead, he brought his face closer to mine. "I love you too, dobe." He said, before planting his lips on mine. '"I love you too, dobe." He loves me. He said it.'

My thoughts were interrupted by the intensity of his kiss. Almost as if he wanted to catch up on the three years that he wasn't able to kiss me. I returned the kiss with just as much passion.

Finally, we pulled away for air. Both of us panting slightly. "Don't you ever leave me again." Sasuke said, his voice sounding angry but his eyes showing fear. "I won't..." I whispered. And like that we found ourselves kissing again.
