"Was I also kidnapped? Did I also have parents originally?" I asked myself. I'm not sure, I hoped I wasn't but now that I learned that my dad was most probably a kidnapper and not an I.T person, did I still want to live with a criminal? Or should I go and look for my real parents, if they were actually existent. I was brought up saying that my mom died during giving birth to me, but was that true? Else, did my dad kill her or send her off to someplace far away. Maybe even outside the United States. After learning all of this, I really could not trust him the way I did before I got back from school this evening.

I had to take a break from all these massive thoughts that were running through my head like an F1 car driving at full speed, where you will see it for a second, and that's it, it's gone. I sat down, grabbed a snack from the fridge and started watching TV. I was watching cartoons, as I needed some sort of a cheer up from all the mental drama that I had been going through previously.

My dad had eventually turned up, and he could tell immediately that something was bothering me. I tried to make as less contact as I possibly could with him. When I asked me though, I couldn't stay quiet. Right now, I was willing to take a risk, I will ask him if he was a kidnapper and then I would see his reaction, to check how suspicious it was.

Now was the big moment...

I asked him, "Dad What do you do at work, as in what is your role?"

He replied, "Uhhm... I am... well... you won't understand."

I immediately knew that he didn't actually go to work and just to confirm that, I asked, "Where is your workplace, dad?"

He said, "Forget about it son, It's bedtime son, goodnight, I'm really tired after a long day of work."

Now here's what happened, the time was only seven-thirty p.m, and I knew that he wasn't tired, instead, he will leave the house in a bit to go to lake train station to get the girl who dad's friend was talking about, on the phone. I had already thought of a genius plan so that the girl who was being talked about on the phone would not end up being kidnapped.

My stuff was packed and my suitcase was ready in my bedroom. I also grabbed a kitchen knife and put it in my pocket, should I need it.  My dad left, just as I imagined, as I checked in his room. I called a taxi immediately and left for Lake Station. On the way, it struck me that they would not take the girl from the middle of the station. I went to the very lonely street, and as I had predicted, there were three people there, one of which was my dad, Matthew Temple. The other two were people I didn't recognize but I imagined that one of them must be the girl and the other person must have been the person who messaged my dad.

This was the exact point when I realized that the girl must have been Amy Richardson, as she is the first girl on the notes on my dad's phone. Another one-hundred thousand questions were running through my head. How did Amy get here? Why was she taken? When was she taken? Where are her parents now? These were just some of the many questions I had running through my head.

This was absolutely ridiculous, and I never thought my dad would do something so ridiculous like this; if he even was my dad in the first place. I really could not do anything at that moment because if I went in to help Amy when there was a dangerous person like my dad around, then my life could be at a massive risk.

Dejected, I called for another taxi and left for home. And yes, it did strike me to call the police but I didn't because I still wasn't one-hundred and ten percent sure. I reached home and immediately went to bed, I was really tired; and sad for Amy. The next morning, my dad looked quite normal, as if nothing had ever happened.

There was something different though, I could hear a sound from the second floor as if someone was sleeping. I looked upstairs and guess what? AMY WAS SLEEPING SOUNDLY IN THE GUEST ROOM! This was not possible. I pretended as if nothing ever happened and went downstairs and asked my dad who was there?

This was his reply, "That is Amy, I adopted her from the adoption center last night when you were asleep."

He thought I had no clue that he was lying because Amy was clearly forced to go with my dad and that she was kidnapped, but I played along.

"Oh, does this mean she will stay here?", I asked.

"Yes, precisely", He replied.

I was okay with that, but when my dad would leave for 'work', I would have a chat with her and ask her if she came here by choice or by force. That morning at 11 a.m, he left for work, this time actually taking his phone with him. I didn't have to go to school that day. I waited a while after he left, and then got some food and some water with me upstairs so she could eat some breakfast. As she was eating, I asked her how she ended up here?

This was her very touching reply,"I was kidnapped... Your CRUEL dad forcefully got me from my house in LA over here".

I asked her if she wanted more food firstly, and she said she was fine. However, I later asked her for the whole story

This is what she said, "I was playing with my friends when this guy, not your dad, came up and asked me if he knew directions to a certain place. I happened to know where it was and pointed him in that direction. He asked if I could come further in front to help him get there fast because he was in a hurry. I walked alongside him for approximately a minute and a half and then he shut my mouth, carried me as if I was three and forcefully pushed me into a van. After that, when I next opened my eyes, I was at a train stati-"

"I was there too, I suspected something suspicious and I watched it happen; when you were thrown into my dad's car, half unconscious." I interrupted

"And you didn't do anything?" she asked.

"I couldn't, my life could have been in danger", I replied.

Just then, I had another idea

"Why not we..."
