Push Me

*wednesday, August 16th*

I haven't been getting a lot of sleep, James is getting worse and worse, I can't stop thinking about it. He doesn't want to leave his bed anymore.

My mom keeps kicking me out of the house and telling me to live my life. So today my mom is taking Janet and I out. Kevin, will be watching Vic and james. Ethan and Grayson slept over last night so they will be there as well.

I get out of bed and go into the shower. When I get out i blow dry my hair and put on grey joggers, plain black shirt and tan moccasins. I throw my hair in a bun. I just don't care anymore.

I get a text from Janet telling me that they are outside, so I grabbed my phone and went down to the lobby then into the car.

I get in the back and rest my head on the window and sigh.

"Okay violet, where do you want to go?" My mom looks in the mirror to see me.

"I don't care" I mumble

"The mall it is" she forces a smile. She leaves the apartment building and heads over to the mall.

On the way there I listen to janet and my mom talk about Janets pregnancy. Everything is working out for her, she is lucky...

Soon enough we get to the mall. I just stay quiet because I have nothing to say other than things that involve my little brother on his death bed or how I'm not there next to him.

My mom buys me stuff even though I didn't ask for anything. Then Janet is already baby shopping.

After a while they got hungry so we went to the food court. I haven't been eating much either, it's not that I don't want to, it's just that I feel like I don't have time to anymore.

We sit in a booth and Janet nudges me.

"What?" I say

"Hot guy 9:00"

I look past her. "No" I look back down at my phone.

"What do you mean vio, you got to get out there"

"Yeah, I haven't been feeling it since the last guy I trusted ended up being married with kids, and I was his entertainment and a quicky, along with a bunch of other girls...so no"  I snap

Janet stays silent and slumps down in her seat

"Violet, have you been taking your medication?"

"No mom" I say with a little attitude.

"Vi you-"

"Mom please!! Just give me a break here!"

She sighs and continues to eat. We were all silent after that. Last week my doctor prescribed me anti- depressants. I don't want to take them. I don't need people to worry about me when James is sick. It doesn't seem right

3:00 the three of us were at the movie theater on line to get tickets when i get a call...

Ethans P.O.V

Gray and I slept over last night and we had fun. We hung out with both Victor and James. Jay has gotten really bad.

Dark circles are appearing under his eyes and his memory is going. He is very fragile also.

This morning gray had to leave early because he had work. He works on the Santa Monica. He got the job last week and he was already promoted to be ride manager.

James and I sat on his bed and we watched the Jurassic park series, including Jurassic world.

Kevin and Vic went food shopping so it's just James and I.

"Hey e, can you get water me" I nod. "Sure bud" I get up. He had been forgetting words lately, but we can still understand him.

I get him water and walk into his room and his face is grey, almost blue and his eyes were closed. I dropped the water and ran over to him to check his pulse.

It was there. Thank god. "James!" He wasn't responding. I quickly picked him up and ran down the stairs. I grabbed my keys and put him in the back seat.

I got in the car and started to drive immediately. I don't know what I'm doing, I could've just called 911. I guess I just panicked.

I look in the back seat and his eyes are still closed but is still breathing.

"We will be there soon james!" I grab my phone and call violet. I put it on speaker. I start speeding down the road as she anwsers

"What's up ethan?"

"James-james. Mercy hospital- he passed out - I'm - going to hospital!"

"Mom! We have to go, its james!!" I hear her yell and then she hangs up as I pull up to the hospital.

I grab James and carry him inside running. "Someone help!! This is James davain!! Son of Lily davain!"

Doctors come running and put him on a bed quickly. They start pushing the bed.

"What happened" a nurse asks

"I-i went to go get him water and found him"

"Okay, your going to have to wait in the waiting room!" She stops me from following him.

I stop and take a deep breath. I go into the waiting room and shake my leg nervously. Please don't die, i repeat in my head.

A few minutes later violet barges in and stops to look around. She runs to me when she spots me.

Janet and Lily both behind her. I stand up.

"Where is he?! Is he okay!?" Violet starts.

"I don't know yet... They just took him from me"

Vi puts her hands on her forehead, tears filling her eyes.

Janet takes a deep breath and sits down. Lily puts her hand on violets shoulder. Violet whips around  "if you weren't so worried about me today James would be okay!! He could die right now and I didn't get to say goodbye!!! No of us did!!" She points at Lily sternly.

I grab violets hand and she just falls in my chest and breaks down. Lily licks her lips and tears streaks down her face. "I'm uh- going to call Kevin- yeah- im- im going to go do that" she pulls out her phone and walks away. Janet follows her.

I wrap my arms around her and rest my head on hers. I don't know what to do. I wish gray was here, he would know...

I just hope James is okay, we all know he will- you know- eventually, but no one got to say goodbye other then me.

Please wake up James...
