~Episode 3: Predictable ~

I went the other way and started to head towards the doors that led out in front. As I walked out, a cold breeze welcomed me to my autumn. Orangey-red and yellow leaves falling from a distance and all around. Accompanied with empty benches. It warmed my heart that it's that type of season already, my cardigan feels warm too.
   I looked around to see if there was anyone out here, but no face popped out of the blue. I walked through the pathway that lead either a spacious area of grass or to the entrance to the actual university. I chose the grassy area. I need to relax for a bit

Man...This isn't going to be easy isn't it

I looked at my phone to see what time is it, a quarter pass 5, I stayed a bit more.
She ended up staying for a bit more then a quarter. As the breeze continuously ran by to remind her more of the fall. That it's only the beginning, nothing hasn't started yet. Ended up catching some shut-eye for about 10 minutes.
*phone dings*

" ...Who is that?.. "
Her phone awoken her and she tended to it.
It was a text from Viviana, and she saw the time. I replied to her about the help that she asked. It was getting too late so she'll have to return back into the building.
"..Well I guess so can grab a coffee while I'm at it. "

I got up and head towards building. I still had the map of the place on my phone so I just followed as showed. A little coffee shop next to the cafeteria. It smelled like freshly made coffee and chocolate. I walked in there sluggish-ish like but not to much so that it was noticeable.
Karen went up to the cashier to order a caramel latte, her number one favorites. Did even bother to act causal about it neither. Leon took notice.

" Anything else? "

" No, thank you. That will be all. Thanks.. "

" Okay so that will be three dollars and seventy-five cents "

Ahh I need to break this 20 dollar bill...

" Hey I have a 20, if it's not a bother to change it.."
" No problem. There you are.. $16.25. Your latte will be ready momentarily "
" Thank you. "

Standing at the pick up line, gazing upon my phone to distract myself was the only option so I don't want look at the cashier. I wasn't in the mood to look at new faces just yet. Although the does seem worried for whatever reason.

Tapping on the counter to distract himself, Leon was only being causal in waiting for her order. Since he was the cashier and can't leave post. Glancing around and looking to his right to check in the baristas. Leon took out his phone cautiously. He put turned on his air drop and looked for someone's name.

I was getting impatient. I'm pretty sure it doesn't take that long to make a latte, or maybe I stand corrected. I positioned myself to lean to the side.

" Caramel latte Ms-? "

" It's Karen."

" Okay, let me just write you name on the cup and you will be set. "
" There you are Karen "

" Thank you have a good night "

I was feeling generous

I walk out and headed towards my dorm. Slowly I did walk, and waited for the elevator. Though she was only one in that area wasn't expecting any unexpected burst outs from anyone.
Once she made it to the front door of her door, Harriet welcomed her then turned a bit sour.

" Mm- what's that? "
"Ah- Coffee "
"Okay so imma get some, byeeee "

Chuckled, and attended to my side of the dorm. Walked past the knocked out Alyiah. There I start proceeded to go down on my work
