∆Episode 2: Mixed (Part 2)∆

We were almost at our dorm, me and Harriet were still laughing about earlier.

We were at the door and inside, there laid Alyiah, starving with her stomach growling loudly.

"Oh my god~ I can see the light.. Ahh. "

Me and Harriet laughed.

" Alright, Alyiah let's go. " I chuckled

" Ya come on girl." Harriet added.

Her stomach growled again.

" Imma die, just leave me " she whined.

She was being dramatic, so we ended up dragging her out of the bed.

" Come on Alyiah! They're probably giving out good food! " I tried to amuse her.

" Good food like what? " she groaned.

" like chicken? " I raised my eyebrow.

" Hah, that's funny. I'd actually love to actually find some."

" Maybe if you get up, you'd probably find some. " my last try of persuasion.

" Fine "

Yes!

" Good. Now, let's go "

" Mmm.. " she groaned.

I dragged her out of the dorm and headed to the cafeteria.

" So what did ya do today? "

"Oh, I stressed the fuck out last period. " I chuckled.

" I made her run " Harry smirked.

I stuck out my tongue at her and she laughed.

" That's cool. " She said while her stomach growls loudly as if it's in the conversation as well.

" I think she did a lot too." Tapping her belly.

We all laughed, and started to head towards the line.

"Aha Tabien (okay) "

I bumped into someone.

" Watch where the fuck you're going! "

"Oh sorry, I didn't see you. " I tried to give a reassuring look but something about her ticked me off..

" You can calm down, alright? " Alyiah replied. 

"Yeah, she didn't see you, there wasn't no need to curse." Harriet replied flatly.

" Whatever "

She glared at me and walked away.

" The fuck was her problem? " Alyiah growled.

" It's alright girls, you know how the first day of college goes. People get mad off of the little things."

" Alright girl, but she really didn't need to curse like it was unnecessary." Harriet was getting mad I could see it.

" It okayyy~ Guess what?? Food is here~! " I presented it with my jazz hands. 

All of a sudden Alyiah's mood was changed and her eyes started to sparkle as she walked slowly to receive her portion, her stomach growled very loudly. Me and Harry just watched this event happened, laughing under our breath.

" Jesus, Saint Mary, and Joseph! Finally! "  

" And the girl is fed! " I announced.

" All hail food! " harry added. 

childish little moment but again we laughed at ourselves, you never know this could be the only day you'll hear it from us.

We walked to a table and sat. Alyiah immediately dug into her food since she was so hungry anyways. Harriet and I sat across from each other. 

" haha.. "

" What's so funny girl? "

" Nothing, I just had a little flashback with my brother "

" oh? "

" yeah.. "

" mmhmm " Alyiah muffled.

We chuckled. 

" He'd always look grumpy when I'm around him but I know I would always be the one that made him smile, Cabron Kamron haha.. "

" Kamron? Karen. Eh eh " Harriet nudged Alyiah and winked at me to be funny. 

" Heh oh girl you funny... I don't know, I feel like I may be being a baby, but I miss my mom hah. I'm just a little homesick that's all I don't want to make seem like I'm ruining ya'll mood "

" Oh no girl, I get it. We all are going to have our little moments. "

" mhmm~ " Alyiah waved her wrist in agreement.

" Haha, yeah my mom and I are really close that's why. Kamron hardly spends time with her, I don't know why. He's becoming an adult and he thinks there isn't time for 'family time' so to speak. "

" ahhh- well maybe you not being there will change that " 

" eh- I guess you're right.. "

" Yeah. " Harriet then proceeded to look at her phone since she received a notification. 

I did the same, only to find a picture of my mom and I at my graduation. I had a big smile, with seeming bright white teeth as my mother too. We looked like straight twins, it was a nice reminder, I might want to print it out one day and put it in a frame. 

Harriet spoke up once again made me break away from my screen. 

 " I'm going back to the dorm to bring this one to her bed, I don't think she'll make it " She gave a reassuring look.

Alyiah begins to blink really slowly like she's going to straight knock out any time by now.

This girl..

" Alright, that's fine. I'm just going to be out here for a bit. " 

Harriet smiled and took Alyiah back, I went another direction.
