The scars

The girl woke up from her slumber by a light shining in her face. When she opened her eye's it was the grave digger holding a flashlight in front of him.

" what are you doing here kid, are you supposed to be house by now " the grave digger asked 

" i don't know, um do you mind telling me the time sir " the girl asked 

" it's 11:00 " the grave digger says with a confused look on his face 

At this point the girl jump's up and starts to run home. It was now about one in the morning and her lungs were hurting her from running so fast. The house was in sight but as the girl got closer to it she saw an outline of a person standing in the door way of the house, she knew it was mike because of his wide shoulders and tall frame. She stops running and walks up the steps and looks at mike. 

" where the hell have you been " the mother yelled as the girl was standing in front of the door way now  

" well it is the day of dad's death so where else would i be " the girl said out of breath 

" your father isn't dead he is right here in front of you sweet heart " the mother said with a smile 

" he is not my fucking dad and he will never be my dad " the girl then pushed past her mother and mike and walks to the kitchen to get a drink of water. 

" young lady he is your father and you will like it " her mother says walking behind her 

" whatever " the girl says and walks upstairs to her room 

It was 2 in the morning now and the girl was still wake and crying and she was thinking how to make the pain to go away then she got the idea, She went to her bathroom grabbed a razor blade and made four cuts on both of her wrist, that is when her mother walked in and saw blood coming out of her daughters wrist and dripping on the floor. 

" what the hell why would you get blood on my bathroom floor, why don't you kill yourself some where else " the mother yelled 

That is when the mother decided to take the girl to the mental hospital and leave her there. The girl was only allowed to keep her journal, her stuffed animal her dad gave her, and her blanket. the girl was so depressed because she knew that she didn't belong here with the sick people but she just went along with it. 

                                        ~ time skip ~ 

A few months after her mother left her here she met a boy and his name was Ben and Ben was in there for the same reason as she is. The dead girl really liked him and he really liked her. It was 9:30 in the morning and both of them were talking and eating food like usual. 

" so did you hear that we are having a movie night tonight " ben asked with a smile on his face 

" yeah but it might be one of those kids movie or church movies " the girl said with a sad smile

" hey i have you know that i love kids movie " ben said laughing 

the girl giggled, she is finally feels happy again. the rest the day was the same after having free time go to your cells that is what Ben calls them and stay there until lunch, then back in there a again until dinner they would go to sleep after dinner but since it is movie night they didn't have to go to bed until after the movie was over. The girl and Ben sat in the back so no one can see them kiss or hold hands. The movie was starting and it was frozen and Ben hated that movie so did the girl. Ben was holding the girl's hand when he see the scars on the girl's wrist.

" hey why did you cut your self " Ben said in a whisper 

The girl looked at him with sad eyes and didn't say anything so the next best thing to do was kiss her scars and that is what he did, he kissed every single one of them. 

" what are you doing Ben " the girl asked 

' what does it look like i'm doing you were harming yourself for a reason weren't you " he asked 

" yeah it's because of my mom and her men toy " the girl said 

" why are they hurting you or something " Ben asked 

" here i'll show you come on " the girl said 

They snuck out of the room and went to the girl's cell where she got her journal out and let Ben read it. Ben had a shocked look on his face one he is pissed because of what mike did to her and shocked because her mother didn't do anything about it. 

" why the fuck have you not told someone about this " Ben asked 

" because no one believes me " she said 

" i would of " Ben said 

" thanks Ben "the girl smiled 

" i will always be with you " ben said 

Ben leaned in and kissed the girl and they cuddle up to each other. When the girl almost fell asleep she forgot that Ben was still in her room so she turned around and told ben to go to his cell and he agreed but before he left he kissed the girl again and left the cell. The girl got up and closed her room door walked back to her bed got under the covers and went to sleep.
