"Can you two please quieten down?"

Chaewon glances at Jimin and within a second another giggle escapes her lips. The librarian stands in front of them, unimpressed, with her hands on her hips.

"Sorry, Miss," Jimin whispers, stifling a smile.

"There are people actually trying to work in here, you know," she continues, glancing backwards at a small gathering of students doing some last-minute studying. "They can't concentrate if you guys are constantly giggling."

"We'll be quiet, we promise," Chaewon states and hides her smile as the librarian finally turns away, disappearing back behind the desk near the entrance.

Jimin turns to her and whispers, "stop making me laugh."

"Okay, I will."

They both have a maths test tomorrow and unprepared isn't even the word to describe their current state. Their teacher recommended them some websites to study on but here they are, in the school library almost an hour after the final bell rang, with absolutely no progress made.

"Have you seen that Taehyun guy recently, Chaewon?"

"Do you mean Taehyung?" She giggles but nods, answering his question. "I see him almost every day, he always comes over to mine since he lives nearby."

"I think it's weird that I've never heard of him, especially since he lives in our neighbourhood," Jimin frowns. "What does he look like again?"

"Ugly clothes," is all Chaewon says and laughs again, earning an indiscreet glare from the librarian who sits nearby. "He wears old clothes, kinda like my grandpa's. I think it's his sense of fashion, I mean old-fashioned is the new trend these days, isn't it?"

"It is?" Jimin asks, clueless. "Apart from his clothes, though, what does he look like?"

"He's quite tall, definitely taller than both of us. His hair is really dark -- kind of a mix between black and deep brown. Um, his eyes are a pretty hazel colour and he has a tiny scar on his forehead like Harry Potter's -- well, not the same shape or anything, but you know what I mean."

"It doesn't ring a bell," Jimin says gloomily. "It's so frustrating; I usually know everyone in our neighbourhood. One day I will see him, I swear."

"I'll definitely remember to arrange something the next time I see him, don't worry."

"So, I have this friend called Jimin. I'm sure I've told you about him before," Chaewon begins, approaching Taehyung with a large grin on her face, hands pressed together. "And I want you to meet him."

"You want me to meet him," Taehyung repeats, his statement sounding more like a question. "Why?"

"Because he's basically like an encyclopedia of this neighbourhood and he's frustrated he doesn't know who you are."

Taehyung frowns but there's an amused smile on his face. Chaewon continues.

"OK, that sounded odd. But it's true. He really wants to meet you so I think we should all get together sometime."

"I'm not really a people-person, to be honest, Chaewon," Taehyung admits with a small laugh.

She rolls her eyes jokingly and takes a seat beside him on the bed.

"He's really nice, don't worry. You'll love him! Please, for me?"

"I'll think about it," Taehyung says finally and Chaewon smiles in accomplishment.

"Good! I'm excited."

The maths test the following day goes surprisingly better than Chaewon expected. She predicts that she'll at least pass considering she answered the majority of the questions.

Jimin excuses himself to go and speak to a teacher about a piece of homework he's struggling with, leaving Chaewon 'abandoned' -- in her own words -- in the corridor. Mina is in the music classroom again and she can't seem to find any of Jimin's friends. Instead, she settles on sorting through her locker that's staring to look a little messy.

Just as she begins to rearrange the huge pile of books and paper, however, a body casually crashes onto the locker beside her own, causing her to jump in fright and consequently drop all of the mess onto the laminate flooring.

"Oh, crap, sorry!" Yeongsu apologises and moves from his position of leaning against the locker beside her. "Let me help you."

Chaewon looks up in surprise at the same time he crouches down, leaving their faces in extremely close proximity. She feels her cheeks begin to heat up and quickly looks away, proceeding to pick up the mess that he caused.

"Why did you do that?" Chaewon asks but her tone isn't serious; she doesn't sound annoyed, just surprised.

"I was trying to surprise you. Turns out I just almost gave you a heart attack, instead," Yeongsu jokes and his attractive grin makes a reappearance.

"It's alright," Chaewon smiles, shoving the still-messy pile of books back into her locker. "Can I help you with anything?"

"I just wanted to see you," he claims and Chaewon swears she feels her heart miss a beat or two. "Why are you alone out here?"

"My friends are all busy. Jimin is speaking to Mrs Yoon about his history assignment and Mina is practicing in the music room."

"Park Jimin and Lee Mina?" Yeongsu questions with a frown, a smirk beginning to emerge on his face.

"Yeah, you like them?" Chaewon grins, hoping her friends are liked by the guy obviously showing an interest in her.

"They're interesting people to be friends with, to say the least," Yeongsu responds, totally avoiding Chaewon's question who continues to naively smile.

"Oh, okay," she says in confusion but continues. "Do you know who Kim Taehyung is?"

"Who?" He frowns, thinks, then shakes his head. Chaewon watches as his slightly overgrown yet attractive hair shakes at the movement. "No, I don't think so."

"Wow, no one seems to know who he is," she says and ignores the look of confusion sweep over Yeongsu's features. "He's like a ghost or something; no one knows he exists."

author's note: Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed this (filler) chapter. Things should hopefully start to make more sense and add together soon, don't worry. I don't want to drag out the storyline but at the same time I don't want to jump into it too soon.

Anyways, how amazing is BTS' comeback?! I love DNA, it feels like a totally different style for them but they killed it - vocals, rap, choreography, all perfect. Even the line distribution is 100% more fair than usual. All members shined in the video and I'm so happy and proud of them :)

What did you guys think of DNA?
