Avoiding Yeongu is a much more difficult task than Chaewon had anticipated it to be. Ever since her decision to try and fall in love with another boy, she seems to bump into him twice as much as she ever did. On the corridor, during her journey to school, back from school - everywhere. If she didn't know him better, she'd think he was stalking her or something.

"Chaewon, I know you said you need space or whatever but I'm literally failing my classes."

"Like I said, I'll still tutor you," she says quietly, refusing to look in his direction.

"It's been three weeks. Come on, tell me what I did wrong."

"I've already told you, you haven't done anything."

He looks slightly angry when Chaewon finally looks up and glances at him. This only makes her feel worse about the entire situation.

"I thought you were different, you know. I actually thought you weren't like all those other girls."

Chaewon freezes and slowly looks up at him again. Yeongsu moves to stand up but she catches his wrist, gently pulling him back down.

She sighs and finally asks, "what day are you free?"

Chaewon falls back onto her bed with a sigh. This messed up situation is just the epitome of draining, all she wants to do is sleep.

Taehyung's words echo inside of her head on a daily basis. Perhaps love can bring him back. She isn't entirely sure how that's possible but the impossible has already been proven to her recently.

She resorts to pulling out her phone and typing 'how to fall in love' into the search bar. A sea of results pop up and she clicks onto the first one, pessimistic about the chances of it actually working. At this point, she's willing to try anything, though.

Step One, talk to them. Well, she already does that. Perhaps she could make more of an effort to talk to Taehyung, but it's not like she can simply call him for a chat. Do ghosts even have mobiles?

Step Two, make plans with them. That's impossible because Taehyung can't leave the house. Great. Maybe they could have a meal inside the house, Chaewon thinks, which leads her to the next dilemma of do ghosts even eat?

Step Three, initiate more skinship. Chaewon throws her phone onto the mattress in an official sign of surrender.

The week passes over quickly and the day of returning to tutoring Yeongsu arrives. Chaewon always knew it was going to come but had pushed it to the back of her mind in hope that it would somehow disappear.

She just feels bad.

"Hey," she smiles as he opens the door. "Ready to be bored?"

This tutoring session is at his house which is at least five times bigger than Chaewon's. She's aware his parents are rich but this is just pure luxury.

"I'm ready to stop failing my classes," he smiles sarcastically as she takes a seat opposite him, dropping the books onto the table.

"Look, Yeongsu, I'm sorry for blanking you but if you're going to give me attitude then I'll just leave," she snaps, surprising herself. Chaewon instantly regrets it, knowing fully that it's her hormones talking.

"Chill, I was just joking. I still haven't forgiven you, though."

"I know," she sighs. "I don't blame you. But let's not talk about this right now. Let's focus on getting you back on the right path with your studies."

Around an hour into the tutoring session, Chaewon hears the front door open and close, followed by heavy footsteps against the tiled flooring. It isn't long until she notices a figure by the door, a figure that she instantly recognises.

"Hi, dad," Yeongsu smiles and Chaewon feels slightly awkward considering this man is her father's boss.

"Hello, son. Who's your friend?"

She feels slightly offended that he doesn't recognise her from the staff meal that she attended a few months ago.

"This is-"

"I'm Chaewon," she smiles, interrupting Yeongsu. "It's nice to meet you, Sir."

"Chaewon's father works at your company," he reminds his dad, who still doesn't seem to recognise her.

"Well son, hundreds of people work at my company. It's unlikely I even know his name," the man attempts to joke but Chaewon doesn't find his comment amusing in the slightest.

Yeongsu glances at her apologetically but doesn't say anything else.

"Right, I'll leave you two to it then. Enjoy studying."

As soon as he leaves, Chaewon says "that was rude."

"I know. I'm sorry. He can be a bit of an ass sometimes."

Chaewon hopes that Yeongsu isn't actually like his father deep down.

"You look sad. Is something wrong?" Taehyung asks as he hesitantly walks towards Chaewon who's lying down, staring straight at the ceiling.

"I'm fine."

"I know you're lying. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"The only thing you could do to help me is removing my ut- wait, that's weird. Forget I said anything."

"Chae," he frowns. "You want me to remove your what?"

"Uterus," she mumbles in sudden embarrassment.

Sometimes, she realised, she has absolutely no filter. She just says the first thing that comes to her head.

"Oh," Taehyung says in response. Chaewon then learns that ghosts can apparently blush.

"Cramps are the worst," she mutters. "Like, why do they even exist? They're just like a celebration of not being pregnant. That's just weird. Whoever or whatever created humans has some explaining to do."

"Should...Should I get you some chocolate or something? My mom always used to eat chocolate. She liked to go in the bath too, she said that helps."

Chaewon stares at Taehyung, her heart feeling kind of warm. That's definitely up there with one of the cutest things she's ever heard.

"Chocolate sounds good."

Author's note: Hi everyone! Sorry it's been so long, I've had severe writer's block again, and I probably still have it from the state of this chapter lmao.

Anyways, I hope you're all doing well and staying healthy!

Are any of you guys watching Idol Producer? If not, it's basically the Chinese version of Produce 101 and Yixing is the main presenter.

My faves from the show are Jung Jung and Justin (I was a huge Produce stan), Xukun, You Zhangjing, Yanlei, Quanzhe, Jeffrey and Zhenghao. And lot's more. Honestly guys, if you haven't seen it already go watch it! It's soooo good.

Well for now, goodbye! (I'll try and update quicker next time)
