~Alicia's POV~
I was standing by the window staring off into the distance when I heard footsteps from behind me.
I sighed still looking out when I said "I expected you to be here when I arrived. Why are you late?"
"The messenger is never late. You simply arrived early."
I rolled my eyes and looked at him.
"So do you have my answer?"
"It's the same as my husband's. I'm not playing your little game Trevor. You and I both know you need to get through me and Draco to get to her."
"It's must be yours and Draco's ambition to make everything so complicating. I was hoping I could get you to join to protect yours daughter."
"She is perfectly safe no matter what side I'm on. Things have changed. It's about time you realize this Trevor."
"My father was right about one thing. You are such a foolish child. How is it you made it into Slytherin if you are so brave?"
"My ambition and my power was much stronger. I never acted on my bravery unless it called me to do so. My number one ambition now is to protect my children and I'll be damned if I gave up on them now."
"Fair enough."
"Answer me this. How long ago did you escape?"
"What did the Daily Prophet say?"
"You and I both know the ministry is behind on so many things now I will ask you again. How long ago did you escape?"
"About 3 years ago. I went under a new name and I am constantly on different Polyjuice potions."
I said nothing and he smirked.
"You had a vision on my escape."
"So what if I did? Doesn't change the fact that I will never join you. I made the mistake once. I won't do it again."
He looked down and smiled and slowly walked towards me.
I clutched my wand that was in my cloak tighter with each step he took.
"I'm gonna tell you a story Alicia. And you are going to shut up for a moment and listen for once."
I rolled my eyes but listened anyways.
"When I escaped, I immediately started looking for someone but it wasn't your daughter. Quite frankly I had no idea you had any kids until I paid a visit to your dear husband. But this person I'm looking for is destined to be with for the rest of her life."
"And who is this girl may I ask?"
"I think you remember her. She was in our house."
"And you never made a move on her why?"
"I had no idea until the day my father died. He told me before you showed up. Anyways does the name Astoria Greengrass ring a bell."
I froze recognizing the name but I knew I never grew close to her at all. Never even spoke to her.
"Why her of all people?"
"Well for one the Malfoys never had another child that was female and two if my father was alive I would ask him. He was the one to pick anyways."
I made a mental note to ask him whenever I decided to to use my necklace again.
"She would never go for you. Your evil and and she is sweet and kind. She didn't care about blood even before the war. What makes you think she will change her ways just to be with you?"
"I'll find a way. Even if I have to take a page out of my grandmother's book and use a love potion."
"Your grandmother ended up taking the man she loved off the potion. Hoping he would stay after finding out she was pregnant with your father."
"A foolish mistake she made that I won't make. I will find this girl and I will get a hold your daughter. Unless you join me of course."
"It's not happening."
"It's her choice in the end. Better hope she doesn't hold anyone too dear to her heart. Because I will personally kill everyone she holds dear to her until she finally joins me."
"You can try but you will fail."
"We shall see."
And with that he disapparated.
I punched the wall in frustration knowing I had to find Astoria.
I have no idea where she was and I have to at least warn her.
I walked through Hogsmeade, back onto the grounds.
I crashed onto my bed feeling exhausted.
Hopefully Draco will know where she is.
