Chapter 4

~Draco's POV~
~1 month later~

I was doing paperwork since it was the end of the day when a popping sounded out in the hall.

I looked to the doorway concerned and walked out.

I looked around seeing nothing so I turned around to go into my office when I froze.

"Hello Draco." He said smirking.

"Trevor."

"Glad to know I wasn't forgotten." He said walking into my office.

"That is my office."

"I do know that. I would like to keep this conversation private."

I sighed and walked in.

I closed the door and turned to him seeing him holding a picture of Alicia and the kids.

"Beautiful children. Especially your daughter. Is she-"

"No. She's not. It skipped a generation."

He laughed setting the picture down saying "I have a hard time believing that."

I stayed silent and he said "its not a smart move to lie to me Draco."

"Shes just a child."

"Oh I know. But she is a spawn of Alicia and you. Imagine the power she would have."

"Just stay away from her."

He smirked and said "I guess you chose your side."

"I chose a long time ago. I just didn't go along with it and that was a mistake."

He loojed down for a moment and looked back up. "Tell Alicia I will be seeing her soon."

And with that he dissaparated out and I was left alone. I grabbed my coat and dissaparated to Alicia.

She was making a potion when I appeared.

She didn't have to look up to see who it was.

"What is it Draco?" She said adding an ingredient and began cutting up another.

"Your brother came by."

She stopped cutting and looked up alarmed.

"He did what?"

"He's looking for recruits."

"Do tell me you denied. We don't need anything else on our records."

"I swear I denied it but thats not the issue. He's after Lillith."

"I told you he would."

"Please tell me you told her."

"Of course I did Draco."

"Good."

"Anything else?"

"Yes. He wants to talk to you."

"I have nothing to say to him."

"I know you don't. But he is still going to talk to you."

"He will have to find me first."

"He found me pretty quick."

"No offense Draco but everyone knew you were going to be a healer. Besides your not that hard to find."

"Where that is true, that changes nothing."

"I will prolong it as long as I can. But for now, I have to keep Lillith hidden."

"Fine. I'm gonna go see them."

"Sounds good. Not a word about Trevor. Understood?"

"Of course love."

I walked to her and kissed her forehead.

"I love you." I said.

"And I you. Now go. The kids miss you."

I smirked and walked out the room.

~Alicia's POV~

I watched Draco leave and I finished my potion.

An owl came in as I stopped the vial of potion.

I fed the owl and took the letter off.

Hello sis.

Bet you weren't expecting a letter from me anytime soon. If so, your dear husband warned you. He made a foolish mistake in not joining me and I do hope you don't make the same one as well. It may prolong me taking your daughter. Choose wisely sister dear. Meet me at the Shrieking Shack the Saturday at midnight. I expect your answer then.

I crumbled up the note and threw it in the fire.

I should have known he would use her against me. But it would never work.

I know I can protect her from him.
