As the sun began to rise and the citizens of aurora colorado got in there cars and drove off to work, i lay still in a lawn chair on my bedroom balcony, watching the sun hover above the city casting a light orange and pink color over the dark sky.

yawning i get up throw on some jeans i found on the floor along with a tanktop, with luke's flannel around my waist and my year old hoodie on my arms i grab my backpack along with a granola bar from the kitchen and headout.

"Bye mum, bye emma." i yell closing the door grabbing my board and skating in the direction of overview high school

"Hey carter, want a ride ?" i turn my head seeing calum pull up beside me in his black 2014 jeep "Nah i'm, fine i'll see you in chem though"

I gave him a reassuring nod and smile before turning the corner, landing me two blocks from school, i'd rather freeze in the cold november weather then be the same car with calum hood for more than 22 milliseconds.

" i know you see in black and white, so i'll paint you a clear blue sky" i quietly sing the song that's been stuck in my head for the past couple of days

seeing the two story building come into to view i sigh and continue along until reaching the gate showing them my school ID, slipping the cheap plastic card back in my wallet, i walk through the front doors and head for my first hour.

sitting at a seat by the window with the willow tree outside i grab my notebook and continue writing song lyrics down until the bell rings and students file in trying not to be late and get after school detention. 

"We have a student joining us today, introduce yourself kid." the green haired kid shuffled over to the front of the room his black converse squeaking against the newly polished floor, he winked at me before he started talking  "Well my name is michael clifford, i'm in a band, and i'm too punk rock for school."

As the bell rung signaling it was time for us to head to our second hour i see luke standing outside my class typing away furiously on his phone not seeing me walk up to him

"babe ?" he doesn't look at me he just continues typing "hey, how was class princess ?"

I blush slightly at the pet name  "Um fine, i guess. are you coming over for dinner tonight my mum needs to know ?" he shook his head sighing angrily before looking down at me   "yeah, yeah sure" he puts away his phone and smiles at me grabbing my hand as we head to his locker

"michael transfered here." i say randomly causing luke cock an eyebrow at me tilting his head to the side "he's in my first hour."

he nodded letting go of my hand putting in his combination 09,12,14 smiling to myself that's the day we started dating. the locker door slamming causing me to jump, luke doesn't notice as he grabs my right hand and pulls me along through the crowded hallway as we make our way history which was the only class he actually went to besides english and maths seeing as his mother was the teacher.

We sat down in our seats as we wait for our teacher ms. Johnston to get here, but she was always at least 15 minutes late so we had time to do whatever. Luke squeezed my thigh causing my head to turn towards him "hmm ?" " nothing babe, nothing at all" he gave me a reassuring smile before laying his head lightly on my shoulder and closing his eyes "don't fall asleep on me lucas." i warned as his head started to get heavy "i won't, i pinky promise baby girl." he mumbled before kissing my shoulder "luke can you plea-"

"now would you look at that such a cute couple. luke and...."  she said as her minions who seemed to be dressed in yellow today- ironic "or whatever that is" she pointed a long finger in my direction, laughing she twirled around  heading towards her seat as her blonde curls bounced up and down

"she walks like a chicken in those shoes" luke scoffed, as i gasped "luke, be nice" "i can't, only the devil wears prada and by the looks of it the devil is right in front of us" i laughed as the teacher walked in and apologized for being late "hi guys sorry i'm late traffic, anywho, can you please turn to page 148 in your textbooks and read the passage as i hand you back your quizzes from last class" she nods.

i turn to Luke grabbing his book out of his backpack since i didn't feel like going to my locker this morning.

i open up the book and find the page and started reading about whatever shit this was "oh and take notes on this there will be another quiz on this chapter thursday, but you will put into groups of two to complete it and i will expect to see two different sets of handwriting" she looked over at me and luke a raised her eyebrows hinting at the fact that i do all the work every time we have partners.

I lifted luke's head up with my shoulder "please let me sleep baby," he groaned and tried to get comfortable again "you can sleep at home or at my house but we have to work now luke" "i don't wanna princess" he moved so his lips were resting near my ear "if you let me sleep babygirl, i'll make you feel so good tonight you'll forget your name." i gasped slightly slapping his arm as he smirked leaning back against my shoulder "goodnight carter."

i blab too much ... i hope you liked chapter one. chapter two will be up by like Wednesday if i feel like editing Monday/Tuesday depending on how much homework i have and if i'm not being a bum "puts raised hands emoji"
