I bit her, but that doesn't mean she'll turn into a vampire. It doesn't work like that.

If a vampire wants to turn a human they would have to suck all of the blood out. Then inject a venom into the body through their fangs.

What I did was simply put her to sleep. She was too hyped up, I did what I thought was best.

She's been asleep for over two hours now. The affects from the bite should wear off any moment now.

I'll apologize when she wakes up. While I waited I took a bottle of blood from my refrigerator.

Blood is the only thing that made me feel alive. Fresh blood is the best, it gave me more energy.

Azalea, her blood is rare. I could tell it was rare because of the smell. Hers smelled sweet, almost like honey.

No other human's blood smelled like hers. I wanted it, so very bad. Just one good mouthful and I would be satisfied.

I watched her intenstly. She stirred in her sleep. Her eyes fluttered open, filling with fear once she saw me.

"I'm sorry for biting you earlier."

"Will I become one of you?" She backed away.

"No of course not."

The dinner bell rang. A stampeed of footsteps traveled down the stairs. The chefs prepare the best meals.

Azalea's stomach growled, her head hung low. I told her to follow me to the dining table so she could eat.

She clung close to my body as we walked past Scotty; the one with the red hair. And Brennen; the one who helped Scotty hold her down.

They hissed at her, showing their sharp fangs. She unintentionally dug her nails into my arm.

Scotty and Brennen wouldn't hurt her. They were just trying to give her a good scare.

That's one thing they loved, scaring people. I laughed at their childish behavior.

We all sat at the dining table, Azalea on the right of me. All eyes were on her, their breathing became ragged.

I could tell they smelled her blood. I banged my fist on the table, they bowed their heads in respect.

The chefs set steaks in front of everyone. Smiles were on everyone's faces when they saw the rare meat.

Well everyone except Azalea. I took her plate and gave it to one of the chef's.

"Cook it." I told him.

"Sir." He bowed then left.

Everyone ate their steaks in silence. Scotty stared at Azalea, trying to scare her senseless. I watched, becoming amused.

"You know I see something that looks tastier than the steak. Don't you Brennen." Scotty said.

"Yeah, makes my mouth water." Brennen made his breaths go uneven.

Azalea tugged on my sleeve, I pretended like I didn't notice. They got out of their seat, she tugged harder on my sleeve.

They made their eyes turn red. Everyone silently chuckled. Azalea stood up, she was shaking so bad. I almost felt sorry...almost.

Brennen held her hands behind her back while Scotty examined her neck. Her bottom lip quivered.

"Please don't eat me." She cried out.

By this time everyone erupted with laughter. Those two always brung joy to the castle.

They let her go, uttering a sorry before going back to their seats. She ran upstairs with a red face.
