Bella POV

Ugh I had such a rough day today all I want to do is go for a nice swim. I look around to make sure no one was around I don't want what happen last time when I was with rikki swimming and Emma and cleo came to the rescue by saying were doing a play on mermaids. But now I'm alone since Emma went to go visit her grandparents. Rikki is busy working at the cafe and Cleo is busy studying so now its just me. When I was left in my bikini I ran in the crystal clear lake by an old mill. aaaa so nice to swim and let my tail out. I heard a car engine coming I pop my head out the water and look behind a rock the was by the shore. It was a tall guy and a short tallish one with a mustache. Crap hopefully they leave soon. I watch them as they sat on the hood of the car sharing a smoke. I'm just gonna swim more on the far side until they leave.
"Hey dude it that a pair of clothes and shoes over there?" One of the said. I quickly look back and see them walking closer to the water and looking at my clothes.
" they're a females "
"But why who would want to strip naked here"
"I don't know I'm go look inside the mill real quick" the short tallish one left inside the mill. The tall one just walk around kicking rocks and stuff. He was super close to the rock I was hiding at. Please don't see me please don't see me.
"Hey you " shit I tried hiding further by the rock.
"I can still see you" damn okay okay I'll just try to have my upper half see and hide my tail.
"What are you doing here hope you know this is private property and your trespassing.
"I'm sorry I just wanted to swim"
"Come more over I want to see your whole face" I sign and move away from the rock.
"I haven't seen you around before"
"Well I just moved here like last month"
"Ooh come out of the water I wanna talk more"
"Um can't do that"
"Why? Are you naked or something ive seen a lot of naked people before."
"Um okay but I'm not really naked"
"Okay if your in a bikini than okay come out"
"No I can't okay I don't want to scare you and you run off telling people and they come to take me away" he look confuse I sign again and moved towards him.
" fine I'll come out but don't scream" he scoffed. I move to the shore and move my tail so he can see his eyes went wide at the site of my tail.
"Woah" he reach his hand out to touch it.
"So you aren't freak out"
"No well yeah but I didn't know mermaids were real I just though it was fake." We talk for awhile I found out his name is roman and he is a supernatural creature an upir. His friend came back.
"I found no one in th- woah hey whose this".
"Peter this is Bella she moved here a month ago" he waved at me and smiled and did the same back.
"Nice to meet you"
"Well I should be going"
"Hold on let me give you a ride" I agreed and got in the car. After roman drop off peter he took me home and walk me to my door step.
"You didn't have to walk me to my door step"
"Well you never know what might happen" you chuckled.
"So see you around"
"Yeah " he gave me his number and a kiss on the cheek.

Roman POV

Wow a mermaid never thought there no such thing but than again they're no such thing as upir or werewolf. She is a beautiful merimaid at that. Hmm cant wait to see her again and her tail.
