Chapter Fourteen

Gia's POV

I'm slowly getting weaker and weaker.

He still hasn't come back for me, I can't believe this... It really was just for publicity.

Joey's POV

What can I do? Absolutely nothing, she's dying as I think about all the beautiful simple moments we had. Or the beginning when I was a total asshole to her but I just didn't want to admit that she was beautiful. Beautiful. I can't describe her with any other word, her personality is beautiful. The way she fell right into place with this whole publicity thing, the way she tucked her hair behind her ears because she didn't want it to get into face. When she ran to me when Hunter did her wrong, I wasn't even that mad. I was just so happy she came to me.

"Joey?" Cameron's voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Uh yeah?" I said looking at the floor still.

"Dude, I just want you to know i'm here for you bro. You're like my number one priority right now and ever since Gia got into that accident you've been so down and just know i'm here okay?" Cameron blurted out.

"Cameron.. I miss her so much." I said breaking down.

"We all have been visiting her, she's awake you know? Why don't you go see her. Every time she see's that you aren't there she gets even more weak. She loves you Joey." Cameron said scratching his neck.

"It's just hard for me.... do you mind taking me?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course." He smiled a little and I nodded and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

AT THE HOSPITAL

I looked at the door with the numbers 437. My eyes started watering and I haven't seen her yet, I'm so nervous but I have to do this. I love her.

Cameron slowly pushed the door open.

There she was lazily scribbling on a pad of paper, she didn't even do it lazily on purpose. She looked so frustrated, she just wanted to draw but she's to weak to.

She slowly looked up noticing the door was open and let out a short breath when she let her eyes stare at me.

"You came." she said surprised which made me feel terrible.

"This is all my fault." I said tears spilling out of my eyes.

She slowly shook her head carefully so she didn't pull anything by accident.

"You don't want to see me it's okay." She said softly.

"Gia, I couldn't put myself to see the girl I fell in love with in such a short period of time in pain." I said walking closer to her.

"You what?" She said confused.

"I love you." I said clearly this time.

"I love you too idiot." She chuckled softly.

I smiled admiring how gentle her actions were and how her nose crinkled when she laughed, revealing that smile I love looking at.

"Don't look for too long, it'll make you sad." She said smirking a little.

It's crazy how she's so positive about being so weak.

"As long as i'm with you i'm okay." I said holding her warm but trembling hand.

"It's so cold in here right?" She said trying to lighten up the mood.

I nodded even though I was freezing, but I wanted to comfort her and be there to help.

"Hey loser, why you got that beanie on for?" She giggled.

"My barber messed up. I look bad." I said wiping fake tears.

"Show me." She smiled a little trying to bother me but she wasn't succeeding. Nothing could bother me in this exact moment.

I took it off and she laughed.

I put it back on and pretended to be hurt. She slowly took it of and put it on top her own head and held it there for a while, almost as if she was praying silently.

"You know, everyday there's this nurse that comes in looks at me and leaves. It's so awkward. I tried making conversation with him but he'd just walk away." She said breaking the silence.

"Good, cause you mine." I said kissing her hand.

"Didn't you leave me?" She said quietly.

"I'm sorry I was just in such shock and I was really busy but I'm here now and I promise to be here with you everyday. When I start moving again for the tour i'm gonna pay for the hospital transfers, I don't care. I wanna be with you." I said slowly making sure she absorbed it all.

"So we're still together?" She asked.

"Yes baby." I said softly almost crying again.

I got up and left and short but long kiss on her lips making sure not to hurt her.

She kissed me back and wiped away a tear that made it's way down my face.

She softly started singing a little tune.

I looked at her and smiled and kept leaving small kisses on her hand.

Damn I love this girl so much.

" Sir, visiting hours are over." A nurse told us and I nodded signaling him to wait.

"I'll be here again tomorrow baby okay? Hang in tight. for me at least." I said kissing her forehead.

She carefully nodded and was about to give me back my beanie but I put it back on her.

"Keep it." I said smiling.

"But then you gonna look ugly." She giggled making me smile harder.

"Don't worry girl, I got my spare hat." I said putting my champion hat on.

"Oh gosh." She said slowly face palming herself.
