"Now when I start fucking someone else he'll be like, "this my pussy and no else's"." Elia said mimicking Devin.
"You know he is."
"And, at this moment to be honest with you Lamia, I don't care. Fuck him and his fucked up emotions. See I should have never slept with his ass back in college."
"But, it was fate."
"Fate my ass. He should have stayed his no good ass, with his no good as girlfriend."
Lamia laughed at her friend. It wasn't often they could have a girls talk, but when they did there was no stopping them.
"Y'all gone be back in each others bed by tonight. You know make up sex is the best of both world's."
"Lamia you're not suppose to encourage me to get tempted to sleep with him."
"As a best friend my job is to encourage you beautiful," she said putting some popcorn into her mouth.
"Let me head out. Dev should be on his way with Armani."
"Okay, text me."
Elia left out heading to her house. She was ready for what ever Devin had to say out his mouth.
•••••She had heard her doorbell ring indicating someone was at the door.
"Hey mommyyyy," Armani said running into her arms.
"Hey baby."
"Mommy," he tugged at her pants leg. "Give dada a kiss goodbye. You always give him a kiss goodbye."
"No, mommy will pass on this one baby. Now let's go make dinner."
"Lia can we talk?"
She turned to face Devin.
"About?"
"Number 1 you got to get me a key to this house. We live together as a family, you can have a key to mine too," he said trying to lighten the mood.
"Bye Dev."
"No on a serious note I wanted to apologize about everything. About what happened earlier. I guess I was in the wrong."
"Cool, now are we done here?" She questioned him.
"Anything you got to say?"
"I want nothing to do with your ass. I'm a bitch, remember?"
She began to walk off.
"Awe, yeah you are completely right. You were wrong the entire time. Bye Dev," she turned around. "Oh! And don't forget to face-time to tell your son goodnight."
She closed the door in his face. From the argument they had earlier she didn't even want to look at his face, let alone hear his voice again.
"Mommy mean," he said.
"No mommy isn't mean baby. Mommy and daddy aren't good friends right now. But, if you want mommy to play nice I'll play nice."
She smiled at him.
Devin walked off. He knew he fucked her over. What he said to her was wrong, but it was the heat of the argument.
Devin drove home and decided to call his mom.
"Hey ma," he said as he entered the house.
"Hey baby what's up? Why you calling?"
"Dang ma I can't call to check on the woman that raised me?"
"I mean if that was your intentions, but I know it's not."
"Okay so Elia--," she cut him off.
"Elia! She's back in your life? Wow I remember you used to talk about her daily. I actually saw her when I was down there. With some little boy."
Devin had failed to tell his mother that she was a grandmother. He knew she'd be hurt that he had kept such things from her.
"Oh! About the little bo--," she cut him off again.
"Oh! Yeah she was with some tall dude he was pretty handsome."
Devin mind went blank.
"And, when did you see them?"
"Like last week when I came down there to visit sweety."
"Okay, ma I got to go I'll call back later bye. Love you."
"Love you t--." He didn't let her finish as he hung up. Had Elia been playing him to?
Haven't update in awhile so enjoy.
