Two A. M.

Now it's two a.m.
And I'm not sleeping again,
I'm writing poems instead,
To get it out of my head.

And every little night,
It's kind of long, I say,
Cause there's nothing to see,
And I hang on to the day.

But it's kind of nice
That it's been a while.
Cause then it's worth the wait
To see that gleaming smile.

And any path I take,
I take my sweet 'ol time,
And think that just maybe,
I'll even pass you by.

I see that it's been hard,
Cause many things changed,
And feel a little bit down
Cause those who left said they'd stay.

And so in the night,
I go through memory lane,
And keep them in my heart,
To help not feel the pain.

And so some things change.
That we can't avoid,
But it's worth the wait
If you just give it time.

But when it's two a. m.
And we all bear the pain,
You'll find that it'd okay
That things won't be the same.

Last quote is why I treat some people better than they deserve. Anyways, I was super sleepy last night but my family and I went to our neighbor's house for a cookout. We didn't come go home until two a. m.

Oh! And I forgot to mention that sooner or later, things are going to change. Cause my names will change in stories. But yeah,  that's all for now, soooooo adios!
