Hey.

So today they've left again,
But more than once this time.
But you kept going back,
Until they've crossed the line.
At 3 p.m. so far.
So far...

But I stayed online.
And I saw you were, too.
And I did the same thing as I always do
Cause it happens everytime
That we're the only two online.

I wondered if you were on the other side,
Seeing I was there, too.
Maybe we both wanted to talk.
Text.
Call.
I don't know!
Just something we could do!

And I look at the words "online"
For what seems like an eternity,
Just telling you things
I could never say face to face
Like if you were listening.....

I wonder if you do the same, too.
Maybe you're saying,
"You wouldn't leave me, would you?"
And I would reply,
"No, never. I would never think of it. Not ever."
And so you would think, "....Thanks."
And I would reply, "Of course... if you ever need me... I'll be there."

And so I go offline,
And see if maybe I was right.....
Maybe you wanted to talk to me
From the other side
Because of this connection,
Staring at the words, "Online"

And so I leave.
But the next moment, I return.....
To see the words "last seen at 3:12 p.m."

Maybe...
Just maybe....
I was right?
And so I whisper, "I love you."
To the words as you go
Fading...
And gone offline.

And gone offline

If you are reading this, then you read the poem.... hopefully. And that also means, you'll read this:

PLEASE LISTEN TO THE SONG.

I love that song... I think a lot of people could probably relate to it (in a way). The Other Side of the Door fits the poem cause it's kind of the same thing but more physical than by connection (Online/Offline. I couldn't decide on a name so I decided to put it as either or).

So please please please listen to the song. And also please... vote and comment (• w •).

Thank you all, and goodnight!
