CHAPTER 2

Hunter's POV

After the little incident that happened with Ellie and her little brother I walked them both down to the primary. She dropped her brother to class which happened to be the same as my brothers but I didn't want to disturb him so we just walked right back out.

Right now we were on the way back and I grabbed onto her arm not to tightly and led her back to my locker and could see her friends watching with a glint of confusion in their eyes.

"Who's the chick" Cody walked up to us since his and Noah's lockers were right newt to mine. When you have connections in the school... abuse them cause it's a hell of a lot of fun watching teachers jump at your presence.

"Is she your next lay" Noah said ogling at her body. "I know i don't do seconds man but i think I can make an exception this time" he emphasised putting his arm around her neck.

I could see the fear in her eyes, as if she thought that I said I would help her just to have sex.

"Piss off bro, she's different" I said giving him a warning glare and seeing Ellie's eyes soften again.

"Who is she then. What's she doing here?" Cody broke the silence after a long pause in between.

"I said if help her with something" I murmured not really knowing how to reply casually.

"Well what's your name girlie?" Cody put on his English accent making her laugh.

"I'm Ellie, but you can call me El" she replied cheering up everyone's mood with her voice.

"So El, are you gonna be the special girl that our best friend Hunter is gonna love, marry, plea-" I cut Noah off punching him in the arm as he choked on his fan girl voice.

"Fuck off" I said laughing at what he was saying. I could see Ellie was still laughing from it to.

"No no no" Noah cut in again "Ellie or El doesn't work for me" he said.

"Dude" i started but Cody finished "you know your not good at being spontaneous with nicknames"

"Yes I am, watch me..." he started thinking before shouting something out.

"Lays" he spat "like the crisps" his smirk showed that wasn't what he was thinking but Ellie was to innocent to notice.

"Whatever you want" she said but Cody thought better of it.

"Why not walkers" he said shooting Noah a look that the only other person that would get it was me.

"Lays feels more original, ya know?" He said but I just shook my head.

"Try another, something more like a name, not crisps" I said glancing at her confused face.

"I know, Victoria!" He shouted.

"Like Victoria Secret" me and Cody said at the same time.

"You guys are shit" he said going back into a deep thought.

"Show me your timetable" I ordered Ellie so she quickly brought it out looking at her friends after giving it to me.

"Do you want them over here?" I asked her not wanting her to feel like the odd one out.

"Can they?" She asked uncertain but with hope in her eyes.

"Yeh sure but they stay with us to then" I said and she nodded before running to go get them.

She took about 5 minutes probably just explaining everything that's happened since I dragged her away before. In that time I explained everything to Cody and Noah and they just nodded with pitiful looks in their eyes.
