CHAPTER 5

Ellie's POV

"I can't believe you just said that" Hunter said unbelievably shaking his head as he took a huge dent to his pride.

"I just told the truth" I put my hands up in surrender laughing really hard.

Me and Hunter have been playing stupid little games for the past half hour and we managed to get into a heated game of eye spy which ended in whoever takes the least amount of guesses wins.

He took the win almost easily and I yelled at him saying that he was 'the worst at being a bad boy' which he took to heart and got extremely offended.

"Take it back" he said gruffly.

"Nope" i answered popping the 'p'

"El your hurting my pride right now"

"So..."

"Take it back" he said growing even more frustrated.

"Make me"

I let out a squeal as the car pulled up outside a small ice cream shop.

"We're here!" I shouted ready to run out the car as I noticed Cody's car pulling up behind us, but Hinters arm wrapped around my waist pulling me back.

"You said make me" he breathed out as he pulled me towards him inches away from his face.

"I did, didn't I?" What am I doing, Ellie what the heck are you doing!

My breathing hitched in my throat as he inched closer to me. Dangerously close.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Fuck" Hunter yelled as I jerked back into my seat.

I rolled down my window wanting the brown haired idiot to have an explanation ready.

"What is it Cody" I asked bluntly.

"Jeez, I was just coming to ask when yous are coming in" he said oh so innocently.

"Fuck you" Jake mumbled getting out the car before Cody opened mine holding out his hand which I gladly took.

"Such a gentlemen" I whispered to him that got him to chuckle loudly.

"In your dreams" he added sarcastically.

"Hands off" Hunter appeared out of no where behind us on the pavement.

"No touchy feely asshole" he pointed an accusing finger at Cody.

"Come on El" Hunter took my hand into his and guided us inside.

So much for no touchy feely.

Hunter's POV

We walked into the ice cream shop that we drove downtown for, to find out the name of it is actually 'Downtown' like what the fuck man.

Ellie dragged me down to the booth where everyone was sitting and took a seat next to Noah bringing me down with her.

"This place is awesome man" Cody said looking over to Ellie.

"Yeah, this is heavy lit bro" Noah added on fist bumping her.

"How does it feel being back here El?" Mila piped in looking for a reaction.

"I feel good, especially with you guys" she said happily and we all grinned at her.

I wrapped my arm over her shoulder pulling her closer to me before whispering in her ear.

"Have fun, you deserve it"
