Sam and Alyss continued running, feet thumping on wood. They saw a door, briefly looked at each other, and then ran for it. Alyss got to the door first, so she was the one to yank it open. Alyss and Sam breathed the fresh air in, liking the feeling of coolness on their cheeks. They awed at the green grass and blue sky that they hadn't seen for what felt like years. Alyss thought that something seemed off about the situation... It seemed to sunny outside, the grass too green to be on the lawn of a haunted mansion. But she shrugged it off, because she didn't want to be having doubts.
They obviously lingered just outside the door for a fraction of a second too long, because Sam spotted something curiously familiar through the open door and down the hall.
Sam gasped in realisation, but it was a gasp in happiness and awe, not because she saw a horrifying sight.
"Sp-Springtrap!" She screamed at the end of the hallway where a large rotting rabbit animatronic was standing.
"Father... I have found you... It's the end." Springtrap wheezed in a british robotic voice.
Sam frowned, knowing what he was talking about even when no one else did; Alyss didn't have a clue to what the thing was talking about.
"Michael Afton! I am NOT your father!" Sam exclaimed.
Sam walked inside, closer to Springtrap.
"Can I have a hug?" She asked eagerly, wanting to see what an animatronic felt like. She walked through the door and into the hallway. Alyss was propelled by an unknown force to just behind Sam.
Something unnatural gleamed in Sam's eyes as she approached the rabbit-shaped animatronic. She broke into a run, reaching out for Springtrap. Springtrap pulled out a mysterious object from what seemed like thin air. Sam didn't even have the chance to glance at the metal thing before being greeted by a knife. It pierced through her heart, killing her instantly. Of course though, that didn't stop the blood from pouring out of her body and making up a puddle on the floor.
Alyss's eyes widened at the fact that she was the only one left. And from fear of the rabbit looking animatronic. She sprinted down the hallway into another opening, not thinking with the adrenaline pumping through her that she could have run through the still-open door. But that was not what she was thinking.
I'm the only one left. Ha; and then there was one... She thought.
Meanwhile, there were six ghosts floating around the house, not visible to Alyss. Mel was there, coughing and tinted green. So was Ella, her clothes stained black by the thing that she died in. Anna was there, a bit crumbly on the shoulders. Jenny was there too, with a lots of random stab marks that look tainted red, but nothing else. Charlie was carrying her own head, looking pretty casual about the whole thing. Naomi floated in the air, her body covered in blood, a slash mark down the middle and a few holes in her chest shaped from the different sized bones.
Sam appeared wearing an empty Freddy Fazbear head. She took it off, and mostly looked normal, except for the whole in her chest. "Hey guys! Is this the afterlife?"
"I hate you guys soooo much!" Anna exploded. "I HAVE A 173 DAY STREAK ON MY JAPANESE PROGRAMME, AND I'LL LOSE IT NOW! I told you!"
"You guys just ran past my body... It was right in the next room." Jenny frowned, sounding hurt.
"It's like the Genocide route all over again. I mean, I guess this is what I get for killing Papyrus?" Naomi winked before drifting towards the frame where Alyss, the only remaining friend, was now standing.
Sam looked at Mel. "I wasn't able to apologise before, well, not properly. I'm sorry Mel!" Sam looked guiltily at Mel.
"I guess I got what I deserved." Sam added, chuckling slightly.
"I obviously can't forgive you for practically killing me but I won't take revenge, no matter how tempting. After all, we only have each other and the others for company." Mel replied. Sam smiled and reached in for a hug to seal the deal, but Jenny swooped in and hugged Mel before she could.
"Now I'm kinda wishing that Alyss will die so that we will all be together." Sam said, waving her ghostly arm in front of Alyss's face. Alyss felt a small gust of wind but couldn't see Sam.
The others looked horrified by what she said because it was really evil, hoping for someone to die.
"Aww, how nice." Beheaded Charlie chided.
"How can you even speak, Charlie?" Ella said incredulously.
Charlie shrugged her shoulders which looks weird because she had no head. "I don't know... I'm a ghost. Doesn't that mean I'm magical?"
Something came into Mel's head at that moment. "Hey, you could join the headless hunt! That would make you magical."
Charlie stared blankly at Mel, not getting the Harry Potter reference. "What?"
"Harry Potter. The headless hunt?" Anna said, and received again puzzled stares from Charlie. "You should have read Harry Potter when you were alive Charlie!"
"Meh." She shrugged, not caring.
"I hate you guys, did I tell you that?" Anna sighed, repeating what she said again.
